The location was one of the biggest highlights, allowing us to explore the Old Quarter almost entirely on foot while still providing a peaceful escape from the busy streets in the evening. Jacob was incredibly helpful throughout our visit, offering excellent local recommendations that turned out to be some of our favorite experiences in Hanoi. The room was always clean, fresh, and well maintained, and the bed was much more comfortable than we expected. Overall, it was an excellent stay, and we'd definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Hanoi.

This is truly a special hotel, and the biggest reason is the wonderful owner, Ms. Tracy. She is kind, caring, and genuinely dedicated to both her guests and the hotel. Every morning, she carefully arranges fresh flowers, organizes the reception area, and ensures that everything is in perfect order. You can immediately notice the attention and care she puts into every detail, which creates a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere throughout the property. Because of Ms. Tracy's warm and positive attitude, the entire team reflects the same spirit. Every staff member is friendly, helpful, and welcoming, always ready to assist with a smile. Their genuine hospitality made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived.
The hotel itself is small but exceptionally clean and well maintained. The rooms are modern, cleaned daily, and replenished with drinking water every day. The TV offers YouTube and other streaming services, and the WiFi connection is reliable throughout the property. Everything is kept neat, tidy, and in excellent condition. Breakfast was always enjoyable, with attentive service from the staff. During our stay, we truly felt at home rather than simply being hotel guests. The location was also very convenient. Sometimes we walked to the nearby food streets, beer streets, and train street, while on hotter days we simply took a taxi. Getting around was easy, and we never encountered any difficulties exploring the area. One thing I particularly appreciated was how quickly the reception staff remembered their guests. Every time I entered or left the hotel, they greeted me warmly and were always happy to help with transportation arrangements or directions whenever needed. The service felt personal and sincere, something that is becoming increasingly rare. The rooms are comfortable, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and full of genuine care.

Great location, good and accommodating staff.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for 2 days and really enjoyed it. It was quite busy during the weekend when we stayed, but the reception still handled everything quickly, from arranging taxis to helping with luggage. We never felt overlooked.
The staff were very friendly and always willing to provide information about activities and places to eat. The room was very clean and comfortable, with a large bed, a spacious bathroom, hot shower, and air conditioning. The hotel also offers tour bookings, car services, and motorbike rentals at the front desk. The location is very convenient, only about a 15 minute walk to shopping areas.

This hotel is beautiful and cozy. It has a nice view, clean rooms, and is well managed. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It is suitable for both couples and solo travelers, with reasonable prices. One evening, I asked the receptionist about local food. Instead of just recommending places, she even wrote down the dish names in Vietnamese so I could order easily. Thanks to that, I was able to enjoy authentic local food without falling into tourist traps.

The location is excellent, making it easy to explore Hanoi's Old Quarter and many of the city's main attractions on foot. We arrived several hours before the official check-in time, but the reception team kindly stored our luggage and went a step further by recommending a walking route around the Cathedral area. Thanks to their helpful advice, we were able to start exploring the city right away instead of spending time waiting at the hotel. We discovered several charming streets, local cafés, and hidden corners that we might have otherwise missed. Throughout our stay, the staff were consistently warm, professional, and eager to help with any questions or requests. Their genuine hospitality made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived A big thank you to the entire team at Astoria Hanoi for making our stay so enjoyable. We would happily stay here again on our next visit to Vietnam.

The hotel is extremely clean, comfortable, and located in a fantastic spot in the Old Quarter. The staff were truly outstanding, especially Tala and Heidi, who gave us great recommendations for food, places to visit, and amazing spas.
The customer service here really surprised me. The staff gave very detailed advice about tours and destinations. I did not have to worry about anything because everything from sightseeing to transportation was arranged by the hotel.

We stayed on the 6th floor and loved the balcony overlooking the street and the cathedral. I often enjoyed my morning tea and read books there. The staff were very kind and attentive. They recommended some tours to us but never pressured us. The room was clean and comfortable. During our stay, many of our clothes got dirty due to the rain. The hotel handled the laudry much faster than we expected, and we had clean clothes the next day. On the day we checked out, we had to leave early at around 5 AM. The receptionist was still very helpful and had already prepared the bill the night before, knowing we had an early departure. All services such as laundry and taxi had been added in advance, so everything was quick and convenient.

We highly recommend this lovely hotel for your next stay in Hanoi. The staff were exceptionally friendly and always happy to answer all our questions. They also gave us many great suggestions for activities and tailoring shops. The rooms were spacious and clean, and we were even upgraded to a higher category room. I am not very familiar with Hanoi, so the receptionist marked all the attractions on a map and showed me how to walk around. Thanks to that, I was able to explore the Old Quarter easily on my own. It was a small detail but a very memorable experience.
