We kregen bij het inchecken een upgrade van kamer aangezien het hotel niet volgeboekt was. Heel mooie kamer, fantastisch bed en leuke waterstof haard! Idyllische omgeving. Service was top! Ontbijt was fenomenaal!
Enige minpuntje: in restaurant maes betaalden we 28 euro voor 2 glazen water. Heel prijzig restaurant voor toch wel kwalitatief eten.
Het personeel de restaurants en bar, uiteraard de mooie kamers.
Hoop dat ze de parkeerplaats binnenkort asfalteren of met grind gaan aanpakken. Er zullen diverse clubs met oldtimers of cabrio’s schrikken van de stof die op en in de auto komen tijdens hun verblijf.

Our stay at Van Oys Retreat in Maastricht was truly exceptional. What stood out most was the outstandingly warm, attentive, and professional service – from the very first moment, we felt genuinely welcomed and exceptionally well looked after. The beautiful, expansive grounds create a wonderfully peaceful and unique atmosphere. The rooms are equally impressive, combining elegant design with a high level of comfort and great attention to detail.
We did experience a minor inconvenience with our initial room, but the team handled it exceptionally well and with great generosity, offering us a complimentary upgrade to a beautiful Two-Room Suite. This thoughtful gesture truly reflected the hotel’s commitment to guest satisfaction and turned a small issue into a very positive experience.
The stay was perfectly complemented by the excellent culinary offerings, which made our time at Van Oys truly memorable. An exceptional retreat that we can wholeheartedly recommend – and one we would be very happy to return to.

The design, layout, rooms, and staff were exceptional! The bed was very comfortable and the rooms were extremely clean.
The only downside was that we ordered some items off the breakfast menu and the staff forgot about our order. After waiting for a bit we reminded them and it still took quite a long time after that. We saw another table be served before us and asked an additional time. The staff was very nice about it all but it wasn’t a very enjoyable experience.
Beautiful design, friendly staff, quick solving of our suggestions and issues. Great restaurant. Quiet surrounding and very comfortable bed.

Het ontbijt was fantastisch en de service was simpelweg subliem. De warme gastvrijheid en aandacht voor detail maakten ons verblijf onvergetelijk. Ook de locatie is prachtig: rustig gelegen in een schitterende omgeving, terwijl het bruisende centrum van Maastricht toch binnen handbereik is
De kamer had wat lagere plafonds, waardoor deze iets compacter aanvoelde. Voor langere personen kan dat wellicht minder comfortabel zijn. Verder was de kamer prachtig, warm ingericht en van alle gemakken voorzien

In 1 kamer was de airco wat lawaaiig. Die hebben we uitgezet. Ondanks de warmte buiten was het nog redelijk koel in de kamer.
