Nothing
Very clean , great bed linen. Good TV
Staff very friendly and helpful.
Several of the rooms had a bad smell
Location good for bus.
Rooms very basic and desperately need updating.
Flush handle on toilet came off in my hand.
I booked a night's stay at the Lea Gate as we were going to the Lytham Festival and accommodation in Lytham was priced presumably based on demand.
The Lea Gate is only a 20 minutes drive away from Lytham and the price was very reasonable.
Sunday breakfast was available and we had cereals, orange juice, a full English and tea for £9.00 each.
A great alternative to driving 80 miles home after the 11.00 pm finish at the Festival and the 20 minutes to locate our car amongst the hundreds of others.
The car park would benefit from resurfacing.
Great hotel, lovely helpful staff.
It is a bit out of the way so taxi's/driving is needed.
The staff were fantastic. Bent over backwards to help.
The shower in our room was a trickle. Not good!
Staff were very helpful
Bathroom old, need renovating, found spiders in the room.
The staff were very helpful and friendly
The room was tired and the mattress on the bed was awful and totally useless for someone with mobility issues
The hotel fitted the purpose for what we needed
A little tired looking in the decor across the hotel and the rooms- there was a large dint/like it had been punched in the bathroom door (room 23)
Smelt a little musty but overall the lined and towels where clean and the room had been cleaned to a good level
Like I have stated, the decor is tired
Large room, could sleep 4 ! Large flat screen TV. Clean, good location, lots of parking. close to pub for breakfasts and other meals. Most booths in pub had tv screens for sports etc...
No air con in rooms, no usb ports, bath rather tired looking.
Lovely staff. Nice and clean
Shower was rubbish. No pump/lid on the hand wash. bit worn in places
Perfect location between the M6 and Lytham for an overnight stay. Breakfast included on site. Friendly staff. Comfy bed. Extra tea and coffee and milk easily available.
Some decor is a little tired.
The hand soap had no pump / lid - gave poor impression.
No separate shampoo / conditioner and shower gel which would be ideal for a one night stay.
