Lovely, vibey place to stay and spend time in
Pros:

Lovely decor, vibe and the room was setup brilliantly to land in! We had some great food and there was live music to listen to

Cons:

The breakfast was fairly pricey for the portion size, the parking could have been clearer

Pros:

Liked everything, lovely room, quality little extra touches, we even had a Roberts radio.

Cons:

The post code, it was a nightmare, but we were using our cars ( Nissan) and not Google. So use Google.

Central location. Nice break.
Pros:

Location is a selling point being near town centre and a 5min walk from rail station. Rooms have air con and are well kept. House keeping seems to be available at civilised times with no pressure to get out like some others. Sensible check out at 11am which suited us just fine.

Cons:

Ground rooms facing main road were a bit noisy ( traffic, revellers etc) but you get used to it. It's accommodation in a town centre after all. Could probably be sorted with a triple glazed arragement. No black out curtain which is bit surprising. We ended up buying eye masks in town. Everything else fine and a very pleasant stay.

Pros:

Warm and friendly welcome, beautifully clean quality accommodation via one of the rooms off the courtyard. Lovely pub and restaurant all located close to the town centre and river.

Cons:

Parking not guaranteed, alternatives inconvenient and expensive.

Fine, but too impersonal. I'm probably back at the Chequers next year!
Pros:

A buffet is always better in my opinion. It's good to choose your own quantity!

Location brilliant.

Cons:

the fact that nobody was at the reception desk. This was unwelcoming and unhelpful. There should be someone there all the time to help visitors; having to seeking them out in the pub (where they're often busy anyway) is not good enough!

Well located and nicely presented. Room too hot too sleep though!
Pros:

Lovely place with polite staff and good vibes

Cons:

Room 21 was immaculately presented but uncomfortably hot with air conditioning not working. Coffee machine also not working. No phone in room to ring down to reception and non one on reception when leaving
