Well known hotel in good area but needs upgrades!!

The hotel was in a great location.

Cons:

I experienced difficulty one night with a leaking ceiling very early in the morning. They transferred us into a different room but that room had a dysfunctional AC unit and it was brutally hot. The staff were accommodating to our needs and we eventually got placed into another room. The manager did offer a small discount for our inconvenience but it will be up to booking.com to refund that money and they are notorious for being shady!!

Eine gelungene 3-tägige Städtereise. Allerdings waren die Nebenkosten teurer wie in Barcelona.
Pros:

Die Zimmer sind von der Größe her ausreichend zumal es eine 3-tägige Städtereise war. Da wir keine großen Frühstücker sind, gab es ca. 50 M vom Hotel eine Panetaria, die ein großes Angebot an Süßen und nicht nicht Süßen Speisen angeboten haben.
Essen war für uns am besten, auch wenn es kein "Spanier" ist ( Italiener mit spanischem Einschlag ), gleich in der Nähe das Restaurant Caprizza. Super Service und sehr gute Küche.

Zur Lage : Super Lage da die Bushaltestelle max. 100m entfernt liegt. Der Bus "19" fährt direkt ins Stadtzentrum und in die andere Richtung fast direkt ( ca. 150m Fußweg ) zum Strand. Für 2 Liegestühle und Sonnenschirm wird einem € 38,- abverlangt. Aber es hat Duschen und Fußduschen , Umkleidekabinen. Es befinden sich am Strand auch mehrere Kneipen und in gewissen Abständen auch Strandbars.

In der 7. Etage befindet sich der Hotelpool. Allerdings sind die Liegestühle auf ca. 20 begrenzt. Trotzdem haben wir ab ungefähr 13/14 Uhr dort mal Siesta gemacht. Der Pool ist relativ klein, aber für eine Abkühlung gerade recht.

Aber Achtung bei Busfahrten : Ich habe über die Stadtbibliothek 5 verschiedene Reiseführer studiert. Keiner hat darauf hingewiesen, dass die Busse bei Rückfahrten ganz andere Haltestellen haben. Deshalb sind bei den Busstationen auch immer beide Strecken, also hin und zurück gelistet. Am besten über Google-Maps am jeweiligen Zielort die vermeintliche Rückfahrstation anklicken und schauen ob dies die richtige Busstation für die Rückfahrt ist.

Wer viel sehen will sollte auf jeden Fall ein Touristticket kaufen. Rentner und Behinderte bekommen Ermäßigung. Ticket hat in beiden Zonen A+B ( B ist bis zum Flughafen ) Gültigkeit.

Cons:

Besonders wurde in den Reiseführern wurde unter anderem das Restaurant "ANA" recht gut angeboten. Für uns eine Enttäuschung. Die bestellte Paella ( ab 2 Personen ) wir in einer Paellapfanne serviert. Der Rand war total angebrannt und außer Reis waren nur noch ein paar Scampis und sonst NICHTS ! Und das für € 22,- p. P. Wir haben dies natürlich sofort reklamiert ohne davon zu essen und mussten nur die bis zum Erhalt des Essens die Getränke bezahlen.

Nice hotel and room but sewer smell with the AC on
Pros:

The hotel itself very nice, the room clean, spacios with modern furniture.

Cons:

It smelled like public toilet in the room when the AC was turned on. I comlained about it, they said they would fix it and sprayed some chemicals. Next evening the sewer smell was back again. I hardly slept that night… and got a headache
