A real hidden gem! Loved everything about Boxo, it exceeded all our expectations and location is perfect!
The breakfast is more or less fixed, you have limited choice to make
The restriction of not to use the Lala Galu Hotel nearby which looks like a sister hotel and yet you can only passthrough to access the beach.
The staff were incredible, so welcoming! I was travelling alone and I was really made to feel at home.

There was a lot of noise in the evening after 10 pm made by people who were outside; we could all hear it and the staff did not intervene.

Wow, this place was a dream and absolutely beautiful. Lala and Boxo combined are exceptional. The location is perfect, just where you want to be, close to the beautiful soft sandy beach of Diani. The employees were lovely too.

V good location. Its sister establishment, Lala Galu, has a lovely beach front bar/restaurant that Boxo guests have access to.
There was only 1 bath towel in the room and it had holes in it. My booking clearly stated 2 adults. Well past midnight, some hotel guests chose to swim in the pool with total disregard for sleeping guests. There was no notice by the pool and it was only when a member of staff came and told them swimming at that time is not allowed that they came out of the pool. The rooms are not sound proof, you can hear all the noise from outside, though I appreciate the novel container concept. The room needs better cleaning in the nooks and crannies.
There's nothing i didn't like in this property. From proximity to the beach to all the friendly staff, everything was perfect 👌🏽
