An unforgettable stay. The photos truly do not capture the beauty and charm of this place. Starting with the staff — everyone was incredibly helpful, kind, and always smiling. Upon arrival, we were given a tour of the entire property, which immediately made us feel welcome.

The hotel itself is absolutely stunning and honestly takes your breath away. The attention to detail is exceptional. We were especially impressed by the beautiful greenery surrounding the hotel — flowers everywhere, perfectly sculpted bushes and trees, and an amazing floral scent throughout the entire property.

We stayed in the new section, where everything was spotless. Our room was beautiful, very spacious, and perfectly prepared down to the smallest details. The carved bed, thick towels and bathrobes, and high-quality cosmetic products made the stay feel truly luxurious.

The restaurant is lovely and serves delicious food at very reasonable prices. The staff are happy to recommend dishes and explain the meals, which makes the experience even more enjoyable.

We also took part in the wine tasting experience, which was full of fascinating stories — from the history of the manor where the hotel is located, through the story of the family who once owned it, to the present-day restoration and transformation into this beautiful hotel. We had the opportunity to tour the enormous vineyard, learn about different grape varieties, recognize them by their leaves, and discover how diseases affecting the grapes are managed. The tasting itself takes place with a picturesque vineyard view and includes many interesting facts about tasting and recognizing wines. The lady guiding us was incredibly kind, and we spent a lot of time chatting in a very warm atmosphere. The tasting was accompanied by delicious snacks as well.

We also enjoyed breakfast in the rose garden. The setting is absolutely beautiful, and the breakfast was delicious — a huge variety of options, fresh fruit, and freshly squeezed juices.

O Solar de Vila Meã foi uma surpresa autêntica que superou em todos os aspetos as nossas expectativas. Conhecemos o hotel através das redes sociais e, sendo do Norte e apreciadores da qualidade de serviço típica da região, decidimos explorar este espaço.

À chegada, fomos recebidos com a excelente notícia de que tinha sido feito um upgrade do quarto. O quarto era lindíssimo, muito espaçoso e extremamente bem equipado, com uma atenção ao detalhe que não se encontra em qualquer lugar.

Para além disso, foi possível usufruir da piscina interior de forma muito fácil e tranquila. Os jardins são belíssimos, assim como o solar. Todo o espaço está extremamente bem cuidado e pensado ao pormenor. A requalificação do edifício é da autoria da Joana Aranha, sendo um trabalho simplesmente encantador e inspirador. Consegue misturar a tradição local de Barcelos com os tons de barro e terracota, acrescentando ao mesmo tempo uma linguagem contemporânea muito elegante e coerente.

Para tornar a estadia ainda mais especial, fizemos reserva no restaurante do hotel, já que se tratava do nosso aniversário de namoro. Fomos muito bem recebidos por toda a equipa e pelo chef, que nos presenteou com alguns extras e com aquela que foi provavelmente a melhor sobremesa que já provámos. A refeição foi excelente e muito equilibrada em termos de qualidade/preço.

Considero que o hotel oferece bastante valor para o preço praticado. Ainda assim, o que mais se destaca é a dedicação e simpatia dos funcionários, que foram incansáveis.

Ficámos com pena de ter sido apenas uma noite, mas temos a certeza de que iremos voltar, especialmente para usufruir da piscina exterior em dias mais quentes. A envolvente e a tranquilidade do espaço fazem desta estadia uma escapadinha perfeita da rotina.

A propriedade é muito bonita. Os quartos dispõem de amenidades Castelbel, toalhas, roupões e chinelos. Dou destaque para a decoração e o atendimento simpático dos funcionários. Gostamos do café da manhã e das opções que o restaurante e o bar oferecem. Como diferencial, recomendo que façam a prova de vinhos e aproveitem as possibilidades de lazer. É um hotel para repetir a estadia. É mesmo superior à média.

Wirklich toll! Riesiges Gelände, komplett ruhig. Angenehme Atmosphäre, sehr nettes Personal mit einem Auge für's Detail. Alles sehr komfortabel und das Essen sehr gut.
