The location is good. Proximity to activities good
The bed was not comfortable and the rooms on the photos didn’t match the rooms allocated to us. The bathrooms need some safety rails to hold on to especially in the shower as it is very slippery. Some of the rooms had unpleasant damp odours
The fact we weren't in the hotel its self we had to walk not far i know but not what we was expecting the bed was so uncomfortable I has a spring digging in my leg everytime I got up
Breakfast was okay, basic but okay.
We didn’t stay in the actual hotel, we stayed 2 doors down. This room was very small, very uncomfortable bed, small shower and wasn’t perfect cosmetic wise. Lots of cobwebs and didn’t feel like it was ready for anyone to stay in. A lot more rooms than there was car park availability so we had to park a good distance away from the property and had to handball our luggage in the pouring rain. Person who checked us in didn’t seem particularly sympathetic.
Location and parking
The bed was very lumpy with springs coming through
We were not in the main hotel but next door but one
The breakfast was fantastic.
No hairdryer. Single bed was broken.
Big, clean room, clean towels, good facilities, tea, coffee, TV, fan, mini fridge, complimentary water. Communal places all clean. Complimentary Continental breakfast Very good, lots of choice and fresh items replaced/topped up regularly. Staff all very friendly and made us feel welcomed/comfortable.
Bed was harder than we would like
Really friendly welcoming atmosphere, weather wasn't the greatest so was a really ideal watching the football in the pub downstairs
Would definitely visit again
Stayed here with disabled family members for one night. The hotel was lovely and the staff were exceptional. Breakfast was continental with excellent choices.
The only faults was the corridor was very narrow for me to navigate with a wheelchair and the door to my room was hard to lock but that wouldn’t detract me from staying here again
Disgusting room, we couldn't even stay the whole duration due to itching in bed and coming out in what appeared to be bites, dirty room where it had not been cleaned properly from last people who stayed there, very noisy during the night with lots of banging, wouldn't recommend and photos are not what it is so dont be fooled
Good
Good location.
The main issue was that we were in a family room above the bar. It was very very loud and, although it didn’t go on until late, it was enough to ruin our stay.
The whole place had a very tired feeling about it and the bathroom was not very clean.
Breakfast was continental but adequate and on a self service basis to be eaten in the lounge or you’re room.
The mattress on the bed was old with springs that bonged.
