Exhilarating stay in the old quarter!
Pros:

It was situated down an alley off a very busy hectic street in the old quarter making it quite exciting and energizing. The two staff members at reception were remarkably friendly and helpful, especially Victor who went out of his way to help us get oriented and made sure we were comfortable!

Cons:

The location was a positive as well as a negative due to the frenzy of the street at the head of the alley where the hotel was. It was hard to be out walking without always watching out for motorbikes and cars speeding by (pedestrians do not have the right of way!).

A lovely hotel tucked away in the heart of Hanoi’s Old Quarter. Despite the busy, noisy streets outside, the hotel is wonderfully quiet, a welcome retreat after a day exploring the city. Our room had a kitchenette and felt more like a home than a hotel room, which made our stay especially comfortable. We would happily have stayed longer and would love to return.

A special thank you to Victor (Front Dest), who welcomed us and took so much time to chat with us throughout our stay. He shared plenty of great recommendations, from places to visit in Hanoi and beyond to the best cafés and spots for dessert. His advice and wonderful sense of humour made our stay even more memorable. With Victor, you’re in excellent hands!
