Comfortable but room for improvement. Not as good as previous visits.
Pros:

Very good location.
Comfortable bed.

Cons:

Breakfast was poor compared to my previous visits. Kitchen had run out of various items so unable to offer some of the hot breakfast items. No orange juice on a couple of mornings. Bananas well past their best.
The bedrooms/bathrooms could do with some attention the carpet in my room was stained in places.

Good stay dispite some issues.
Pros:

Good stay in a place we are familiar with.

Cons:

Breakfast was poor with uncooked sausages and we waited to long.
The menu was uninspiring so we ate at the pub across the road.
The lack of a full time manager makes for an impersonal experience with constantly changing staff.
I had reason to speak to staff who were making a noise outside my bedroom window late at night.

Cons:

Was there during heat wave. Rooms extremely hot and stuffy -no air con and couldn’t open windows fully. There were fans but mine wouldn’t oscillate. Despite trying for over 5 minutes running the cold tap we could NOT get any cold water - just a little below body temperature at best.
Continental breakfast selection extremely limited but cooked good although avocado on toast somewhat overpriced.

Great romantic weekend away
Pros:

Absolutely amazing location. Great room very clean . We did eat in the restaurant- amazing quality and very tasty, staff very friendly and ready to help.

Cons:

We stayed when temperatures were reaching 34 degrees. Personally I think should be a different duvets for different seasons. Our was very thick winter duvete. And unfortunately no AC in the room . Often nobody on reception.

For the reason stated, I doubt we will stay again.
Cons:

Our last night was disturbed by an staff leaving event until 2:30 a.m. - we requested compensation with the manager which was agreed but so far we haven't received any compensation.
