The food was good although some of breakfast was cold and the eggs overcooked. Burger and fish were good in the evening.
The dining room.was dirty. Very dusty and full of cobwebs and freezing. The air con was on far too cold.
Friendly staff. Could not do enough for me .
Different cook to my last stay on Monday but only thing was touched eggs were very hard . Otherwise no issues .
Freezer broke down. So menu item’s unavailable at dinner and at breakfast
At breakfast, t water for tea was put in a flask. Water was not hot enough for tea. No kettle was available to provide boiling water. It was very disappointing. Chef on for Thursday breakfast was not good. EG Poached eggs were hard.
On Wednesday no butter was put out for breakfast
Room was hot and stuffy. Window would only open 6 inches.
Bathroom was boiling. Hot water tap on bath would not open.
Room was very small. Felt like a prison.
Television was very small , about 12 inches wide. I couldn’t see from pillow end of bed.
The location of the property in the village is excellent. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here in the future.

The stairs can be a little bit of a struggle if you have conditions
Room was fine, larger than expected for a single room, and quite comfortable. Everything was clean and the shower had plenty of pressure. Breakfast was okay.
No air-conditioning and it was a very hot couple of days. A fan was provided and that helped but it wasn't really enough to allow for a comfortable night's sleep.
Staff were friendly enough but on arrival the front-desk person told me that to find the car park I should just take the left outside of the hotel and I'd find the car park on that street. In reality you have to take that left, then another left about 50-60 yards down onto another road, and then left again to get to the car park.

Dinner was very good with a great choice and variety.
I had to change rooms because the one I had first had no windows which I felt a bit claustrophobic. Ryan changed my room no problem. The current staff are friendly and attentive.
The passageways need decoration. This let the building down I thought. The reception, bell, office and general specification of the lobby is below the overall standard which gives a poor first impression.
