We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Grand Turf, Nuwara Eliya. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with excellent facilities. The location is very convenient, and the beautiful surroundings made our stay even more enjoyable.
The staff were helpful throughout our stay. The food and breakfast were also very good, with good service.
Overall, we had a very pleasant and relaxing experience at Hotel Grand Turf.
The parking space is somewhat limited, which can be a little inconvenient, especially when the hotel is busy. Also, I feel the staff could be a little more professional and attentive in their customer service. Improving this area would make the overall guest experience even better and encourage customers to return in the future.
Nothing special, just a normal room..
There isn't enough space in the room, the room feels cramped. And the balcony is covered by a roof. Because of that, we couldn't enjoy a good view. So, it wasn't worth the money.
Handy location with a short walk into town while being pretty quiet. View over Gregory Lake. Lovely boys in the breakfast room really looked after me. Packed lunch second morning at very short notice (early train, I gave plenty notice but I don't think the desk staff passed it on :). Shower had own heater which looked a bit dodgy & I was a bit suspicious about but I had probably the best hotel shower I've ever had from it! Room had everything I needed. Recommended!
Minor observation and point. Not much room at end of bed to move around and bed was very short: I'm only 167 cm now so not really a problem for me. Also I was travelling alone and so was appropriately allocated probably the smallest room (?301) in the house, which was perfectly adequate for me (the other rooms looked a lot bigger). Balcony door didn't lock, but I'm not sure that mattered? Not really dislikes, just minor points and info.

Frühstück bestand lediglich aus trockenem Toast, Butter, Marmelade und Obst! Omelette wurde separat abgerechnet! Das wussten wir nicht!

Mooi grote kamers met goede en schone bedden .
De badkamer was er groot en goed schoon.
Ontbijt was oké .
In de badkamer mogen de ventilatoren en het plafond beter schoongemaakt worden.
Die Größe der Zimmer war völlig ausreichend.
Die Betten waren nicht sauber, Flecken auf der Bettdecke und Haare.
Das ganze Haus war ziemlich alt und absolut nicht in Schuss.
Das Frühstück war das schlechteste, was wir auf der kompletten Rundreise bekommen haben.

Stanza molto sporca....
È stata la stanza più sporca trovata nel mio tour in Sri Lanka ad un prezzo persino alto se consideriamo la media degli alloggi del paese.
Inoltre durante la notte si è presentato un odore nauseabondo che arrivava dagli scarichi del bagno, così forte da non riuscire a dormire.
A questo prezzo si trovano alloggi di gran lunga migliori.
Ho soggiornato nella suite vista lago.

Very comfortable and clean rooms. Great breakfast. Perfect for a one night stay. Staff at reception very helpful.
We stayed at Hotel Grand Turf for 3 nights and had a wonderful experience. Our room was very spacious, clean, and comfortable. We stayed on Level 3, and although there was no lift, the staff were very helpful and kindly assisted us with our luggage.
The customer service was excellent, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout our stay. The breakfast was a mix of Sri Lankan and English breakfast. It was excellent, and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. The spa was lovely, and my son especially enjoyed it.
Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend Hotel Grand Turf.

The staff were friendly, helpful, and professional, and the service was outstanding. The food was delicious, and all the facilities were excellent. Everything was perfect from start to finish.
