Séjour sympathique au calme à Kandy
Pros:

Au calme mais pas loin du centre ville
Piscine plutôt propre mais fraîche
Le logement était top

Cons:

Nous avions demandé de récupérer notre linge le soir pour faire les valises, nous l'avons eu le lendemain matin

Pros:

Exceptionnel! Vue magnifique, endroit calme.
La salle de jeu est un vrai plus lorsqu'il pleut et que nous ne pouvons pas profiter de la piscine.
Personnel tres gentil et arrangeant pour nous déposer au centre ville de Kandy.
De plus, la nourriture du restaurant est très bonne et à.des prix raisonnables.

Cons:

The two ladies there were absolutely wonderful, and I always felt safe and secure around them. It felt more like staying with family than at a hotel. Everything was so warm and cozy that I honestly didn’t even miss home. ❤️

La vue de la chambre panoramique est exceptionnelle, elle vaut le coup de payer plus cher
La moustiquaire avec le lit à baldaquin est agréable

Le petit déjeuner est extra et le personnel très serviable

Le billard, la balançoire, les canapés sont très sympas et permettent de créer une ambiance cosy

La piscine devrait être bâchée pour éviter que l’eau de pluie ne rentre
La salle de jeu devrait être rangée
La salle de sport pourrait être optimisée (machine qui fonctionnent, etc)

Amazing Stay for Families with Young Kids
Pros:

As parents of twins, we had a wonderful stay! The room was huge, clean, and perfect for our family. The staff were exceptional so kind, understanding, and always ready to help. They thoughtfully provided two cots for our little ones, which made our stay much more comfortable.
A special thank you to the kitchen team for preparing delicious French toast and banana pancakes for our kids. They absolutely loved them!
The play area was fantastic, and our twins had so much fun in the baby pool. It was the perfect family-friendly getaway. We truly appreciated the warm hospitality and attention to detail. We highly recommend this hotel to families with young children and look forward to visiting again!

Small boutique hotel with friendly atmosphere in Kandy
Pros:

Cons:

Dinner is not at same level as breakfast, different staff ? Also some waiting time and misunderstandings, they gently offered a nice dessert to compensate

Prachtig kasteeltje op rustige locatie in het drukke Kandy

Rustige omgeving maar wel dicht bij centrum. Unieke architectuur qua huis. Gastvrouw zorht voor heerlijke SriLankaanse maaltijd. Uitgebreid ontbijt.

Un hébergement dans les montagnes avec une belle vue.
Pros:

Nous avons fait un séjour de 5 nuits au Castle. Nous avons bien aimé la grandeur de l’appartement que nous avions. La vue sur les montagnes est vraiment super. Le déjeuner est délicieux et varié. En tuktuk, il est facile de rejoindre la ville de Kandy en 15 minutes pour un prix qui varie entre 300 LKR et 600 LKR selon votre destination. Il y a différents endroits où s’installer pour relaxer (terrasse, sofa).

Cons:

Il y avait une odeur de reflux d’égout dans notre salle de bain. Le petit parc pour enfants est bien, mais mériterait des rénovations.

Great spot out of the bustle of the city, it’s very peaceful and staff are great.
Pros:

A lovely spot away from the hustle and bustle of Kandy city. Staying up in the hills around Kandy was perfect for us. We walked into the city - about 7km round trip, but most would drive or catch a tuk tuk.

The views are amazing and the property is well maintained with some great antiques around the place.

Owners are very knowledgeable and will provide assistance in booking anything you need.

Cons:

No faults for the price.

Mooi uitzicht, mooie kamers en heerlijk ontbijt.
Pros:

Het ontbijt was erg uitgebreid. Van ei tot zoete broodjes, stukjes taart, vers fruit. Cornflakes, rijstnoedels.
Wij hadden een heeel groot bed. De kinderen sliepen in een kamer aan onze kamer. In beide kamers airco.
Koelkastje op de kamer en de mogelijkheid om thee en koffie te maken. Heel erg schoon.
Zwembad. Ook een klein zwembadje. Mooi uitzicht op de bergen. Volgens mij ook nog een sportzaaltje en een pingpong tafel maar daar hebben wij geen gebruik van gemaakt.

Cons:

Een aantal kapotte tegels bij het zwembad.

Short transit stay for family
Pros:

The Castle is a quirky accomodation designed by the owners for their love of colonial history and medieval times. It has a lot of interesting thngs located throughout the property to look at if this is your interest. We had only a short time overnight so were not able to take use of the pool which looked good and had a good view of the hills and valley (as did the entire property). Breakfast was adequate for our family. If we had more time then we could have enjoyed the facilities more if staying in.

Cons:

The location was a long way (time wise) from the main area of Kandy, and quite a mission to locate in the dark. If you want to be close to the main part of Kandy city then this may not be for you.
