Although we had too early a flight to have breakfadt, the ambiance and selection of whisky in the bar was fantadtic. Also serving as a local stop-in for an evening wee dram. We were referred to a great local Italian restaurant for dinner, 5 minute walk and the manager was friendly and accommodating for ensuring our comfort. Less than 10 minutes to the airport and much more "Glasgow" than a chain.
Restaurant closed on weekends but wasn't advertised as such.
Bed was comfortable, breakfast was delicious, staff is friendly and helpful
Our room was amazing - very spacious with a separate seating area and huge bath and separate shower.
There was lots of choice on the breakfast menu. Staff were all very friendly. Great location for the airport with ample parking.

Prima Lage für den Besuch von Glasgow
The staff is very personable and engaging. For anyone looking for a friendly hotel without the corporate baggage, this is a good choice.
The bathrooms/showers are very small, but the beds are very comfortable!
Lovely grand old building lovingly restored. Great rooms with private bathrooms. We had booked a twin room but they were able to give us two separate rooms instead, which was an absolute bonus.
Too Lovely … didn’t want to leave.
Breakfast very good. Good selection. Hotel building very interesting. Bed comfortable, room good size. Chairs meant we could sit and have a cup of tea and watch TV. Position made it easy to visit the places we wanted to see.
Pillows. Hard. This is a problem in most hotels. My partner did ask and was given a change. Disappointed evening meals were not available during our stay.
Ashtree House is very close to the train station, which was important to us for our stay. The room was quiet. The food was acceptable, and it was convenient to have dinner there on a Friday evening. The staff were friendly, though not exceedingly accommodating.
In contrast to the reviews we read when booking, the bathrooms and shower stalls were tiny and uncomfortable, even in the larger of the two rooms that we had. Of the four nights that we stayed, we had hot water only one night; it was tepid the other 3 nights. There were no convenient electrical outlets, which is essential for charging devices. You could make tea in your room, but you were not allowed to bring it downstairs to the parlor. You had to purchase tea if you wanted to enjoy it in the common area.
Very clean. Great location.
I liked it all.
Cooked breakfast to order was delicious. Our room very spacious and clean. A very comfortable night’s sleep. Perfect for our overnight stay and would recommend for others looking for a quiet spot in lovely setting
Maybe the breakfast room could be brighter
Great location! This is a beautiful property. The rooms are elegant and spacious. The staff was extremely helpful. The breakfast was extensive and delicious. Would love to come stay here again.
The family run feeling of the place. Also the house is a calm oasis, set back from the busy area of Paisley but close to the town's amenities.
I loved the lounge area with the real fire - a great place for a whisky at the end of the evening.
We felt a bit rushed to get to dinner on our first arrival.
Comfortable stay near the airport that was not a cheap hotel. I like staying in old buildings.
Everything was fine.
Die Freundlichkeit, die Wärme, die schönen Möbel, die Ruhe und daß auf dem Zimmer ein Wasserkocher samt Kaffeesticks und Kakaosticks waren!
