Quiet peaceful sleep in centre of town
Pros:

Location was great in the centre of town although in a very quiet street so absolutely zero street noise, perfect for a peaceful nights sleep

Cons:

Although our room was lovely it is a very old traditional building (which we loved) but it does need a bit of tlc, rotten window frames, small damp patches here or there and cracked window in lounge, finding the light switch to the bathroom in our room was strange, positioned behind a wardrobe is not ideal. Our room would look much classier with a headboard behind the bed. The room was beautiful only these little things let it down slightly.

Felt like being at home.
Pros:

Family owned. Very personable. The accommodations were cozy and felt like home. The owners are so welcoming and helpful. I would definitely book again and recommend.

Excellent good value alternative to an airport hotel.
Pros:

Excellent option for a hotel near Glasgow airport. Room was beautifully decorated with comfortable beds. Excellent breakfast. Very friendly helpful staff. Walking distance to nice restaurants if like us you arrive to late to eat in the hotel. Excellent stocked whisky bar and comfortable lounge. Would highly recommend.

Relaxing stay
Pros:

Lovely friendly staff, perfect location to visit our son, 5 minutes walk away. Very comfortable. Breakfast was very nice. Would definitely recommend.

A great memory!
Pros:

The hotel was beautiful and I appreciated the history and ambience. Our room and bed were very comfortable.

A lot of stairs to carry up luggage but can’t really be helped with such an old beautiful hotel.

Very quiet, comfortable stay and still close to restaurants and shopping
Pros:

Room was quiet with a beautiful garden view, very peaceful! The bed and linens very comfortable and cozy. The hotel was beautifully decorated, with a comfortable and pleasing lounge. Very quiet location so close to the train station and a wonderful small cafe on the corner makes this an ideal location. It was an easy bus ride to Glasgow airport too.

Cons:

In my room the kettle set-up was quite awkward as it was put on a narrow shelf near the tv. I think there should have been more space allocated to it for the price and quality of this hotel.

Excellent place to stay with parking in Paisley.
Pros:

The welcome, huge room, comfy bed, garden, very quiet and great view. Lovely staff. Great breakfasts.
Riverside Museum visit great as was Burrell Collection and Kelvingrove.

A gem!
Pros:

The Ashtree House Hotel is a hidden gem. Due to a family emergency we had to travel to Glasgow unexpectedly and were greeted by the owner with a genuine welcome and interest in us. She could not have been kinder throughout our stay. Our room, a family room with two double beds, was at the top of the house and was spacious with a lovely bathroom. The room was quiet and had a nice view to the garden. The neds were extremely comfortable.
Breakfast was made to order and of a high standard.
The Ashtree would be highly recommended by us a and would definitely return
