I booked and paid for two rooms through Booking.com for my family. The booking was confirmed, but when I completed the online check-in, I received an access code for only one room.

Nothing in the instructions clearly indicated that I needed to complete a separate activation for each room. A reasonable guest would expect that, after booking and paying for two rooms under the same reservation, access details would be provided for both rooms.

As soon as I realised the problem, I tried everything possible to resolve it. I contacted the hotel by email, through the Booking.com chat, and by telephone. Despite my repeated attempts, I received no assistance that evening. As a result, my husband and my 17-year-old son stayed in the only room I could access, while I had to find and pay for alternative accommodation late at night because three people could not stay in one double room.

The most disappointing part was not the technical problem itself—these things can happen—but the complete lack of customer support and the hotel’s refusal to accept any responsibility afterwards. Even after providing a full explanation and evidence of my attempts to contact them, they refused to refund the room that I had paid for but was unable to use.

If your hotel operates with a fully automated self-check-in system, it is your responsibility to ensure that it works correctly and that guests can obtain prompt assistance when it doesn’t. In my experience, neither happened.

I cannot recommend a hotel that leaves guests without access to a room they have paid for and then refuses to resolve the issue fairly.

Wenn ich wieder in Weil im Schönbuch übernachten sollte, werde ich wieder dieses Hotel buchen.
Pros:

Das Hotel hat ein sehr schönes und geräumiges Bad und ist sehr sauber. Die Unterkunft ist auch mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel gut zu erreichen.

Der Aufenthalt hat unserre Erwartungen erfüllt. Alles war wie beschrieben. Wir kommen wieder.
Pros:

Frühstück war bei diesem Aufenthalt nicht inkludiert. Die Lage des Hotels war wie beschrieben. Sie ist allerdings nichts für einen längeren Aufenthalt. Für eine Nacht war es ok.

Cons:

Im Zimmer gab es keine Klimaanlage. Als wir ankamen, war es gefühlt heiß wie in einer Sauna. Hier könnten zwei Ventilatoren pro Zimmer Abhilfe schaffen, um das Zimmer individuell zu kühlen.

Für einen Kurzaufenthalt sehr gut zu kleinem Preis
Pros:

Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber. Zugang hat perfekt geklappt, wie angegeben. Wunderbar großes Bad.

Cons:

Die Lage inmitten eines großen Industriegebietes ist gewöhnungsbedürftig. Klimaanlage ist nicht vorhanden.

Für mich: nie wieder!
Pros:

Mitten im Industrie Gebiete
Leidet hat die Dusche keine Abtrennung zum Waschbecken und zur Toilette, so dass ich am nächsten Morgen noch das Wasser zenitimeter hoch stehen hatte!

Cons:

Dann war nicht ersichtlich , wie man die Handdusche an bzw aufstellt ! Beim ausstellen ging plötzlich die Regendusche an und meine Haare waren klatschnass, wasich unbedingt verhindern wollte
