Pros:

La camera era molto grande e spaziosa, con balcone e vista mare. Tutte le camere sono vista mare. Molto buona anche la gestione degli asciugamani da mare e dell’acqua, sempre disponibili ad uso
Illimitato per la giornata.
Ottimo il trattamento SPA, un massaggio da 90 minuti.
Il personale è stato generalmente molto cortese e disponibile, in particolare Suzuki in piscina e la ragazza che parla italiano, di cui purtroppo non ricordiamo il nome.
Molto piacevole anche lo champagne Laurent-Perrier offerto dall’hotel al tramonto (anche se servito in flûte di plastica).

Cons:

Nel complesso, riteniamo che l’hotel non sia all’altezza di un vero 5 stelle, ma piuttosto di un 4 stelle.
La struttura è poco curata in generale e la lobby piuttosto piccola rispetto alle dimensioni dell’hotel.
Un episodio che ci ha particolarmente deluso riguarda un’attività che avevamo prenotato tramite l’hotel. Alcuni giorni prima dell’arrivo avevamo scritto via mail per prenotare un’uscita in barca per fare snorkeling. Ci era stata confermata quella che ci era stata indicata come l’ultima data disponibile e noi avevamo a nostra volta confermato. Al check-in ci è stata nuovamente confermata l’attività e ci sono state richieste anche le misure per pinne, muta, ecc. Il giorno successivo, però, ci è stato comunicato che la gita era al completo e che non c’erano altre disponibilità. In alternativa ci è stato proposto uno snorkeling dalla spiaggia, che ovviamente non abbiamo ritenuto interessante, visto che si tratta di un’attività che si può fare gratuitamente e autonomamente. Troviamo piuttosto spiacevole che un’attività già confermata sia poi risultata non disponibile.
Anche la gestione della colazione sarebbe a nostro avviso da rivedere. Ogni mattina abbiamo dovuto attendere alcuni minuti nella lobby prima di essere accompagnati al tavolo, nonostante ci fossero tavoli liberi: semplicemente non erano ancora stati sparecchiati. In nessun hotel, nemmeno di categoria inferiore, ci era mai capitato di dover attendere per poter fare colazione.
Manca inoltre un bar aperto durante la giornata. Una sera, rientrando da una cena fuori, alle 21:30 avremmo voluto semplicemente prendere un dolce, ma il ristorante era già chiuso e non c’era alcuna alternativa.
Anche il servizio di turn-down ci è sembrato troppo presto, intorno alle 17:30. Comprendiamo che in Giappone gli orari possano essere diversi, ma in un hotel 5 stelle ci si aspetterebbe un servizio serale più adeguato. Inoltre, salvo una sola occasione, non ci sono mai state chiuse le tende né abbassat

Freundliches Personal, aber eine ungepflegte Anlage und ein völlig unangemessenes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis – wir sind
Pros:

Das Personal war jederzeit freundlich. Die Lage direkt am Meer mit Shuttle zum nahegelegenen Strand.

Cons:

Für rund 500 € pro Nacht und als Marriott Luxury Collection war das Hotel eine große Enttäuschung. Die gesamte Anlage wirkte ungepflegt und renovierungsbedürftig. Der Pool war sichtbar verschmutzt, mit schwarzen Ablagerungen in den Fugen. Außenmöbel waren verschlissen, Fenster dreckig und die Grünanlagen ungepflegt. Auch das Restaurant konnte nicht überzeugen: überteuerte Preise, schlechte Qualität (10.000 Yen für ein Abendessen inklusive einer “Neapolitan”-Pasta, die nichts anderes als Spaghetti mit Ketchup war), dürftiges Frühstück und ein Großteil des Personals sprach kaum Englisch. Das entsprach in keiner Weise dem Standard, den man von einem Luxury Collection Hotel erwartet.

Pros:

Rooms are very spacious, clean and ocean views incredible.
The staff was incredibly hospitable, helping us with all our activities and dinner reservations.
Shuttle service was great.
I highly recommend including the breakfast with the room reservation. Although there is only one restaurant that serves French-Japanese for dinner, the breakfast was fresh and delicious with a changing entree menu every morning.

Cons:

Because it is remote and common space is limited and the beach is not on site (but near and stunning), there is a need to get meals elsewhere and go to the beach. Perhaps rental bikes should be included in the hotel fee, or be very reasonable.
