Important information:

From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted. Please note that both valid credit and debit cards are accepted by the hotel.
Please note that from 1 June 2014, all bookings are subjected to a MYR 2 Heritage Tax per room per day.

Please note that the property will have No Electricity Supply on July 1st, 2026, from 09:00 to 17:00 due to Tenaga National (TNB) maintenance work.

Please be informed that Perbadanan Bekalan Air Pulau Pinang (PBAPP) has announced a scheduled water supply disruption in Penang from 25th to 28th April 2025.

Pros:

The hotel receptionists were friendly and explained everything clearly. The bed, pillows and rooms were comfy. We like the option of the fan in the room and air con so that we can choose which one to use. Staff were quick to assist with our luggage to our rooms and also when checking out.

Cons:

Breakfast is not worth it. Better not pay for it. The split level between the bathroom and room is very annoying. We kept tripping over it. If you don’t have bell service, don’t make it an option on the list of phone numbers in the room. Driving up the spiral ramp to get to parking is very dizzy. The ramp is very small so you have to be careful if you drive a big car. The lights in the parking area are a bit dark. Every time you want to go out from parking, you have to validate it first at the receptionist which is quite tedious as we went out several times a day. Tv reception is terrible so we can’t really watch anything. No shampoo and conditioner given. No toothbrush and toothpaste given either. Not sure if they have room service as there’s no menu in the room (although there’s a number for it on the room phone, but we didn’t try.) Apparently there’s a spa or massage at the hotel but there’s no brochure in the room with more information.

Cons:

It an old hotel. During the night i heard creepy noice and unable to sleep peacefully. Woke up every 2 hours. It's not a good experience but the hotel is clean. The breakfast is okay. Just the creepy noice during the night is very disturbing. Not gonna stay alone for work trip anymore

Money well spent
Pros:

Friendly staff, easy location, ample parking. Room size was good.

Cons:

Hotel in renovation phase, some part of hotel is old and malfunction. Hopefully once fully restore the hotel can be as good as before.

Pros:

Unexpectedly caused discomfort to us when we back fr our event around 11pm one of our access card WAS NOT scan or update in door system.we cant scan to open door.i called reception no one answered I need take lift to lobby again to inform them wat happened. We were already tired. Then sent a maintenance staff to help us not & found out our card wasn't scan that's why cant tap the room door.We REALLY do not understand why this happened. Sadly

very suitable for working travel
Pros:

The hotel location is convenient for those who is working near the dock or heavy industry.
The room was acceptable with unlimited air-condition.
