Important information:

From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted. Please note that both valid credit and debit cards are accepted by the hotel.
Please note that from 1 June 2014, all bookings are subjected to a MYR 2 Heritage Tax per room per day.

Please note that the property will have No Electricity Supply on July 1st, 2026, from 09:00 to 17:00 due to Tenaga National (TNB) maintenance work.

Please be informed that Perbadanan Bekalan Air Pulau Pinang (PBAPP) has announced a scheduled water supply disruption in Penang from 25th to 28th April 2025.

Pros:

The spacious room and cleanliness. Bathroom was clean too.

Cons:

Workers kept saying it's an old hotel, not encouraging. They came and helped to get our sports channel but kept complaining it is old. I actually liked the spacious room and its location.

Worst hotel to stay with 0 facilities in real that actually works
Pros:

Nothing, this is an old heritage site that should be better removed than operational.

Cons:

Except location, there is not single thing to like. There is no control over AC, it never switchoff or manage the control and no hot water, lift doesnt work and it gets stopped and noisy and worst part is that no body cares to your concerns or queries and says it will be fixed or worked upon.
