We only stayed for 1 night, comfortable bed.
Pros:

It was close to some good shops and looked like it had some good family facilities.

Cons:

Our window had a huge bush up against it, so no view. Not enough plug sockets and none by the bed.

Disappointing!
Pros:

Food was ok. Ended up going elsewhere as it took over an hour to get our meal the first night.

Cons:

Room was ok, very basic, rather dated, needed painting. TV was hopeless, virtually no signal, kept losing signal. Bed was very hard and not at all comfortable. View from window was a skip!
Bin lorry picked up bins at 4:30am in the morning making a lot of noise.

Price was absolutely worth it. Very comfy beds, everyone slept well and had plenty of room of a family of 2 adults and 2 younger kids

Great hotel and friendly, helpful staff
Pros:

The hotel car park was spacious. All the hotel staff were very friendly. The reception staff went the exta mile to be helpful. As well as giving directions one of them drew a map from the hotel to Stena Line for our return journey home. Also told us about sites nearby to visit (were as good as any Tourist Office 😀). The 2 bedrooms were bright & spacious, one of which was an accessible room, beside reception & close to the dining area. We had our evening meal there & found the portions ample, tasty & very reasonably priced. The hotel catered very well for families with younger children (plenty to keep them amused).
