Location beautiful, Sunday lunch fantastic, spacious room in main house, great parking.

Cons:

Very disappointed - we arrived at 8:45 and by the time we dropped our bags off they’d stopped serving any type of food at 8:55
At this price point we would’ve expected sandwiches etc to always be available. It would’ve been nice to either be informed the kitchen would completely close soon or let people know ahead of time food isn’t always available on the property.
We had to go out again to a nearby hotel to get food.
There’s also no bedside socket in my room - again I would’ve expected this at the price point.

We would definately stay again, perhaps in spring, or summer so we could do some of the walks

Lovely location, so pretty. The staff were very nice. We had the afternoon tea which was amazing.

Could be a wonderful place to stay, I think we were unlucky with the room (5)
Pros:

Beautiful setting and very friendly staff. Excellent breakfast, easy parking. Clean bathroom and sheets.

Cons:

Room was cramped, the bathroom was tiny, the floor/carpet was old and dirty. The room above had restless guests and there was no soundproofing, the floorboards creaked and groaned. Very heavy duvet during hot weather.
