Très joli jardin, au calme et hôte sympathique
Attention, il y a un bungalow et une chambre dans la maison. Nous pensions être dans le bungalow, mais en fait nous nous sommes retrouvés dans la maison. Cela n’est pas pareil cela et complique un peu l’organisation (ex. Pour rentrer après dîner, il faut appeler l’hôte vu que nous n’avions pas de clé de la porte de la maison).
Faire payer la place de parking 7£ (en cash), c’est un peu exagéré

Everything, the youngish couple went above and beyond to make us feel at home so beautiful the home was it was just like going from home to home.
Nothing that we didn’t like about the property.
Location and river view was lovely
We We had a disappointing stay. The room was in need of some serious TLC and not as described. We ended up sleeping on what was essentially a child’s bed. The host was quite insistent about charging £7 for parking on the driveway, which felt excessive, and then repeatedly asked for a photo of our driver’s licence—despite no clear policy in place.
Guests are required to remove their shoes at the front door and wear worn-out second-hand slippers, which felt unhygienic. Tea-making facilities were only available in the host’s kitchen, and any TV access meant sitting in their living room—offering no privacy at all.
Overall, the experience felt more like staying in someone’s spare room than proper guest accommodation. Would not return.
Property was nice and clean
Location
That was my worst stay ever. We were surprised to find the house owner staying at the property. We had a late visit with our family and then received messages and calls from the host asking us to return to the apartment because she was going to bed and locking the doors. During our visit, the shower and sockets did not work at all. We were offered a second shower room, which had no hot water. The water bottles were filled with water from another container, and the glasses had stains.
Lovely location right next to the Thames, and the host was amazing. I had a lovely cooked indian breakfast in the morning with a cup of masala chai tea.
Beautiful location and welcoming host. Shared bathroom is close to the bedroom, comfortable bed. Invited to use the family kitchen facilities to make tea and use the fridge. View of the river and rear garden with seating.
Location was perfect for thorpe park
Host was extremely rude, give us a 2200pm time frame to cone back to the house and said that the gates will be permanently closed after this time. No key for entry to the property was giving, no key or pass code for gate. Bad service would not recommend staying here.
Lovely garden (which will only be better as summer approaches) and private seating area on the river accessed through garden.

Comfortable bed, lovely location, stepping out right on the Thames from the back door.
Easy walk to pubs and restaurants and the High Street.
Indian breakfast was wonderful.
