Great practical hotel which is no thrills but good value for money
Pros:

Good value for money. The staff were amazing very friendly and helpful. Celine and Lona were perfect hosts and helped us a lot.

Cons:

Cold shower in morning. No bar.

Great location noisy, badly maintained room and bizzare behaviour by receptionist
Pros:

Staff friendly and helpful, with one notable exception.
Really good location

Cons:

Room very noisy from traffic on street below and inadequate soundproofing (despite particularly asking for a quiet room)
Door stuck on floor, so very difficult to open and close
Facilities shared with hotel a few doors down, so really just an Annex
Being woken by reception calling very late at night to ask me if I had filled in my feedback survey yet!

Cons:

The pictures on Booking.com are AI generated and looking nothing like the actual room. The room was very outdated and a lot of things were broken (toilet seat, shower handle, etc.). The floor was also tearing up and felt dirty

Staff were amazing, very welcoming, and professional, in particularly Celine who was absolutely wonderful! She was very attentive to our needs and helped us book our train to SaPa. Celine was definitely a gem! Loved her! Location was great!

Cons:

The property itself was not bad but needs some attention. Every time we used the shower, it flooded into the rest of the bathroom. The balcony was nice but the doors are not soundproof so can hear construction throughout the night which made it difficult to sleep. Our room was not as pictured on the website as we had a more dated room.

Cons:

The room really did not match the description and pictures (junior suite-lol). The room was on the top floor and could not be reached by elevator. The room was very small, full of mold and not even enough space to open large suitcases properly, no bedside tables or anything to put things on. The shower was terrible, black mold and no water pressure in both the tap and shower. In the morning there was a bad smell of sewage. We had to change hotels. The staff were aware of the issue, and their biggest concern was that we'd give bad feedback. We told them that they can't continue to mislead people. We did not receive a refund.

Very good location and staff very helpful. Tom and Jack are very friendly and patient to help me out whenever I need.

Great hotel with great staff in perfect location
Pros:

Great location right near Hoan Kiem lake, access to the variety of restaurants and shopping stalls.
Room was spacious, clean with a verandah overlooking the street, perfect for watching the hustle and bustle old Town.

Cons:

Not much to complain about really, TV didn’t work in our original room but they quickly upgraded us to another room.
