Nice but overpriced
Pros:

The room was ok, with relatively basic amenities, with a nice size for 2. The bed was nice but not super comfortable, though the linen were very clean and fresh. The towels and bathrobes are great though. The view was not great (street side, no sea view). The breakfast was decent but not exceptional. I have seen much better in other hotels in SA and even in Hermanus. They claim they have 2 pools but this is s joke. They are tiny, and can barely fit 4 adults (so don't even think that you can do any laps in them). The staff is very nice.

Lovely relaxing stay, even with a power cut they managed to serve up a delicious breakfast.
Pros:

Friendly welcome. Good sized room. Helpful staff. Good location just cross the road for the cliff path and the bay, easy walk a long the rid to town.

Overall, from the staff's welcome to the extra service received, it was a wonderful stay!
Pros:

The service and helpfulness of the staff was impeccable. Anytime we needed something, the staff provided it quickly and efficiently. We enjoyed the special touch of the staff turning our bed down each night.

Cons:

The in-room fireplace made it very cozy. However, the debris and ash from the logs got a bit messy at times.

Great view, great staff and definitely a revisit is required.
Pros:

This is a great establishment. I did get an upgrade so the sea view was astonishing. The staff are fantastic, the breakfast was delicious and I really can't fault it on anything.

Cons:

Leaving on the Monday.
I could have stayed on indefinitely.

This hotel is located on the beachfront in Hermanus so it has beautiful views but this is probably the least impressive part about it.

Cons:

The rooms that are not sea facing are quite close to the adjacent properties so it does feel like there’s a lack of privacy.

Desde que llegué me recibieron súper bien!

Mi habitación tenía unas vistas increíbles al mar y pude ver ballenas dos días!! Me hubiera quedado más noches si hubiera podido

Como iba en época de frío tenía miedo de pasar frío, pero al revés, estaba la habitación caliente y también en la terraza se podía estar estupendamente

Estaba súper limpio, el desayuno había parte de buffet y la carta, súper rico!!

El personal es encantador y volvería sin dudarlo!! Me hicieron sentir como en casa

Está a unos 10-15 minutos andando de la zona de restaurantes y comercios. Y Uber para repartos funciona muy bien

Al salir tienes unas maravillosas vistas de todo el paseo para ver ballenas

Muy recomendable!!

Staff were lovely. Place was very clean and modern. Easy walk to the clifftop and into town. Bed very comfortable.

Cons:

The hotel isn’t 5 star standard. Compared to other places and given this was the most expensive we have stayed in the price did not reflect the quality of the place.

Gerne wieder
Pros:

Uns hat alles gefallen und wir haben prima geschlafen. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker. Wir haben unser Gepäck noch verwahren lassen, um nochmal in den Ort und an die Küste gehen zu können. Auch das war unkompliziert.

Zimmer mit Meerblick oder doch nicht
Pros:

Nachdem unser gebuchtes zimmer bei unserer Ankunft nicht frei war und wir nach 1 nacht hätten umziehen müssen, haben wir das auch negativ zum Ausdruck gebracht. Daraufhin konnten wir eine Junior suite beziehen, die wir dann auch sehr gemütlich fanden. Unsere ursprüngliche Buchung Zimmer mit Meerblick war damit hinfällig. Nun schauten wir in die Gärten. Personal war überall präsent, höflich, manchnal etwas zuviel.
