They have an amazing, attentive team. From the moment we walked through the door, we immediately felt right at home. We bumped into their impressive Golden Key Concierge too. Make sure to ask for their Legend Hotel Tour—we appreciated Frank, who took us around and explained the hotel's history and fun facts!
The team was also very kind to guide us on how to book the right Didi rides to our attractions, and gave us tips and tricks for optimum travel comfort. They brought our parcels and food deliveries up to our room when we were too tired to go out for food.
Their turn down service team noticed we drank a beverage and brought in more for us, placing them on our bedside table for when we returned from a long and exhausting day. They also brought out their tea set, laid with a teabag so we could have it before bedtime. It was extremely lovely to be considered to this extent.
The bed was really comfortable, and we had one of the deepest sleeps we've had in any hotel before. They had blackout curtains, and our room was extremely peaceful and quiet. Their hotel slippers were also some of the most comfortable—we kindly asked for extra pairs to bring home with us.
We look forward to coming back.
While the front office and rooms teams were exemplary, the dining team struggled with coordinating the breakfast buffet on both days of our stay. There were missing serving bowls and serving spoons, as well as food signages that didn't match up with the actual food.

Piccolo episodio di una cameriera che nonostante 2 cartelli, uno virtuale e uno fisico alla porta, di NON DISTURBARE. È quasi entrada in stanza mentre ci stavamo vestendo alle 9am. Fortunatamente sono riuscita a spingere la porta e evitare che entrasse in camera

Soggiorno eccellente sotto ogni profilo. Il Sofitel Legend People’s Grand Hotel Xi’an è un hotel di grande fascino, ospitato in un edificio storico estremamente elegante e perfettamente coerente con l’atmosfera della città. Gli ambienti comuni sono raffinati, curati, mai anonimi, e trasmettono immediatamente la sensazione di trovarsi in una struttura con carattere, storia e personalità.
Molto bella anche la camera: spaziosa, confortevole, arredata con gusto classico e con un livello di cura che rende il soggiorno estremamente piacevole.
Particolarmente gradevole anche l’aperitivo offerto ogni sera, servito in ambienti eleganti e prestigiosi dell’hotel. È un momento molto piacevole della giornata, perfetto per rientrare dopo le visite e godersi con calma l’atmosfera della struttura.
Il vero punto di forza, però, è il personale: assolutamente professionale, squisito e attento. Il servizio è stato impeccabile, sempre cortese ma mai invadente, con una cura dell’ospite rara e sincera. Ogni richiesta è stata gestita con efficienza, disponibilità e grande educazione.
In sintesi, un hotel di altissimo livello, elegante, accogliente e gestito con una professionalità esemplare. Una scelta perfetta, la migliore, per un soggiorno a Xi’an e, senza dubbio, uno degli hotel che ricordiamo con maggiore piacere del nostro viaggio in Cina.

It is a relatively small hotel within a larger hotel complex and has that unique “old money luxury” flair. Exquisite attention to detail by all members of staff. Not the largest but definitely the most top-notch breakfast of our whole trip to China. Gym and pool are not the largest either but still nice. Excellent food at the afternoon tea at the lounge.

Realmente nada que decir, por mucho que le busque defectos, x decir algo es q no está a 5 minutos de la muralla o el centro histórico, solo 20 que es un paseo muy agradable que te ayuda a conocer la ciudad.
