All in all an enjoyable stay and good value for money
Pros:

The junior suite was very spacious for our group of 3 and it was most convenient to have breakfast and dinner included in the price. Despite a lot of negative reviews about the lack of variety at dinner, I found it more than sufficient. The location is stunning and the hotel is easily accessible if you have a car.

Cons:

The bed wasn't so comfortable and the price of bottled water at dinner was very expensive. The hotel facilities are average. Although there's a gym it's very basic. The spa doesn't have much to offer, but the island abounds in thermal pools and waterfalls which make up for the lack of facilities in the hotel.

Pros:

The territory of the hotel is really beautiful. The lawns seem to be endless.

Cons:

This hotel is incredibly overpriced for the level and quality of service that one receives. The food in the restaurant reminded me of the student canteen. Very low quality. The pool area is not inviting at all. The staff needs proper training in hospitality. Overall it was a disappointing experience.

Bel hôtel, très agréable, calme, bel environnement, loin de la foule, voiture indispensable.
Pros:

Ne pas s'arrêter à l'aspect extérieur (batiment) il ne reflète pas l'intérieur qui est lui vraiment beau, lumineux, spacieux, bien décoré et fleuri, du très grand hall d'accueil jusqu'au bar et les salles de restauration.
Très belle suite Junior, grande, lumineuse, très bonne literie et mobilier, grande salle de bains avec douche et baignoire, peignoir et chaussons, dressing, terrasse, vraiment très bien !
Le petit déjeuner et diner : très beaux buffets, variés et bons. Personnel de service agréable dans l'ensemble.
Très beaux jardins, avec accès rapide à une grande plage.
L'emplacement est pratique pour visiter l'ile dans toutes les directions.

Cons:

L'espace Spa mériterait une rénovation et agrandissement pour être à la hauteur du reste de l'hôtel.
Très peu de personnel parle français ! ce n'est pas pratique lorsque nous-même ne parlons pas portugais et très peu anglais! nous avons néanmoins trouvé des personnes à la réception très compréhensives et parlant un peu français, donc super quand nous avons eu besoin !!
Pour un 4 étoiles nous avons été étonnées que les petits plus dans la salle de bains (kit brosse à dent et autres petits soins) soient sur demande !!! N'ayant reçus nos bagages que 2 jours après notre arrivée, ils nous ont été très utiles !!

Pros:

The staff was very nice and super helpful. We were stranded on the island for three days, because of the weather conditions our flight got cancelled multiple times. The hotel made our unplanned extended stay comfortable.

Cons:

It was an old building with stained rugs and carpeted floors. The cleanliness wasn't the best. But we were grateful to have a hotel and not having to stay at the airport for three days.
