Get a real receptionist
Pros:

The rooms were beautifully decorated and designed.
We didn’t arrive to check in until really late. After midnight and the reception guy was lovely and helpful.

Cons:

What i didn’t like about the ethorpe was I couldn’t get in touch with them to tell them we would be late. I phoned numerous times and was talking with a robot . Which I found frustrating

A great stay and we will definitely return.
Pros:

A great find being so near the airport. Staff were very kind and we loved our room. We had an evening meal which was very good.

An amazing hotel, very reasonably priced, very tidy and I’ll definitely return in the future

Great staff, a great location and very reasonable prices for breakfast and for alcoholic beverages

Also, it was particularly hot at the weekend for the challenge cup final; however when I returned back to my room it was a really nice gesture to find that a fan had been put in my room and switched on which cooled my room down

Pros:

Pleasant Pub/hotel for a one night stay. Not too far away from Heathrow airport. Friendly staff with clean rooms, well presented and great room amenities.

Cons:

The web site allowed us to book a table in the restaurant for 9pm, however when we arrived we were informed the kitchen would be closing after 8:30.

Cozy hotel near enough to London without the congestion of London
Pros:

The Ethorpe is located in a quiet hamlet about an hour from London Marylebone train station, more importantly for us, 15 minutes from Heathrow Airport.

Cons:

The rooms are no air conditioned. The nights were cool therefore an open window and fan were sufficient. On warmer nights this could be something to consider.

Lovely hotel but hard with the unusual British weather
Pros:

Lovely hotel, great location and a nice area to sit outside with a good restaurant inside.

Cons:

It says it has air conditioning (on their official website )in the rooms and at 30degrees plus, I wish I’d ignored the website and taken my own little unit as it just had a desk fan. The room was uncomfortable hot to get ready for an event.

A perfectly convenient and comfortable stay for getting into London in twenty mins.
Pros:

Car registered in car park by reception staff. Room not ready til 2 but not a problem.
Rooms clean and bathroom immaculate with large walk in shower.
Breakfast options really good. Full English was tasty only down side sausages were a bit hard and over cooked. Breakfast server was friendly. All in all highly recommended.
