We requested early check-in when we booked. It was approved for 7 - 8 am. After a long overnight flight from Sydney we arrived early to be told by hotel staff that we could only check in at 3 pm. Exhausted and hot we had to sit around for more than 5 hours. Hot in Honolulu. Cold in Sydney and we couldn't change. Husband has very bad back after 4 surgeries and needed to rest. No kettle in room for coffee. Just a one bedroom room with no balcony and view of shopping centre parking lot. Paid AUD 667 for that! We only had 1 day and night in Honolulu and spent it sitting around in a hotel. Left at 6am for Maui the next day. Staff and owner didn't offer us any recompense for our very bad experience. Private owner of room did not communicate with hotel staff. We would have gone somewhere else for an early check-in. Honour your approval next time! You cannot approve an early check-in and then renege on it! It was vital to us that we got an earlier check-in and many establishments offer this. In Croatia hosts were welcoming and accommodating. The same cannot be said for Hawaii. Officious and immovable! Where is the island hospitality one reads about - non-existent!
I liked the decor, bathroom, microwave, paper plates, ice box and the head board lights.
The AC wasn't cold enough, not enough towels, wash clothes, blankets and no lanai.
ทำเลที่พักดีมาก เพราะอยู่ใน Ala Moana Hotel ติดกับ Ala Moana Park และ Ala Moana beach จึงไปวิ่งออกกำลังกายได้ทุกวัน ลงเล่นน้ำทะเลได้ ที่ชอบอีกประการคือ Ala Moana shopping center มีของขายเยอะมาก และมี food court ทำให้เรื่องอาหารการกินเป็นเรื่องสะดวกสบายหายกังวลไปตลอด 9 วันที่พัก
อยากให้เจ้าของห้องตรวจเครื่องใช้ ห้องน้ำ สุขภัณฑ์ว่ามีสิ่งใดต้องซ่อมหรือเปลี่ยน ตอนเข้าพัก เจอ coffee mate หมดอายุจากที่แขกคนเก่าทิ้งไว้ ส่วนห้องน้ำ ฝายางโถชักโครกเสื่อม น้ำไหลทิ้งเป็นระยะ ต้องแจ้ง maintenance ของโรงแรมมาซ่อมให้ แต่เรื่องอื่นๆ ดีหมด ห้องอยู่สบายดีมาก Air condition ทำงานปกติ

Location, water hydration station in the lobby, food trucks across the way, the big chair and ottoman, Pint & Jigger
Shower pressure, no coffee, loud street noise late Saturday night but you don't have control over that.
I like everything. The room was super clean and beautiful.
Location close to main shopping centre with easy access to Alo Moana shopping with heaps of shopping alternatives to high end and average and food court
Booking wasn’t arranged with hotel ,staff was rude as it was a private booking and they hadn’t been notified had to call owner get booking sent thru
