The room a little dark
We had a lovely big room with a view of the river. The hospitality tray was very well stocked. The bed was very comfortable and we had a good nights sleep.

Despite being a chain, this Inn feels individual. We had a a great stay here made possible by the great staff (special mention to Ben at breakfast), a clean well furnished room that had a very comfortable bed. We enjoyed our stay and would return if we needed accomodation in the area.
There is nothing that we did not like.

We asked when booking for room with least stairs due to my recent back operation. On arrival we were in the top floor with most stairs. On telling the staff they did move us on the next day.
The location was wonderful. The weather was kind to us. We sat watching kingfishers by the river. The hotel was very busy for a Tuesday night. The food was good. The staff were very pleasant. The hotel was an easy drive from Shrewsbury.

Room 1 excellent, very spacious and great view of the river. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Unfortunately there had been a flood in the room I had booked for our friends which was the only other superior room and they had to use a double room. We were not made aware of this by booking.com. The hotel manager was great and as soon as he could he moved them to a king size bedroom and gave us compensation for the disappointment, we will hopefully go back.

The views and supper over looking the river watching the sunset was just idyllic. The rooms were most comfy and spacious with everything we needed.

A one night stop on our travels and it did not disappoint. The welcome was warm and it was easy to check in. Our room (#6) was very comfortable with a lovely bathroom (with a bath). It was up 2 flights of stairs but doable. We had booked in for dinner in the conservatory which, like many of their areas, overlooks the River Severn. Service was excellent as was our dinner (and wine). Breakfast is interesting... from 7.30 to 8.45 cereals, yogurts, fruits, pastries and toast is available (great for those who need to get to work). After then, the kitchen opens and you can have an amazing cooked to order breakfast!
We will definitely come and stay again!
