Would definitely book again.
Pros:

A great stay in Chengdu. Very friendly staff and a perfect location. Breakfast was very good, too. Rooms are spacious and the building is quite unique.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo caratteristico hotel nel centro città. La colazione era ottima e ben organizzata e la posizione eccellente per tutti gli spostamenti verso le attrazioni principali. Lo staff è stato gentilissimo e ci ha aiutato in ogni modo per ogni dubbio e problema. Hanno acquistato per noi anche un adattatore universale e ce lo hanno fatto avere nel giro di poche ore! Straordinari! Grazie di tutto!

Es muy fácil de llegar al hotel desde la estación del tren, la línea lleva directamente hacia allá.
Frank y sus compañeros son muy atentos y cuidadosos con todo. Al llegar nos recibieron con bebida fresca y al irnos recibimos unos panditas de peluche por parte de Frank.
La comida es excelente, no hay porque irse a buscar a otro lugar, es de lo mejor que hemos comido en nuestra estancia en China, encima dan un cupón con algunos yuanes para descuento en el restaurante.
El desayuno también es fabuloso.
El hotel es hermoso y está en una calle histórica.

Nos hubiera encantado quedarnos más noches aquí.

die lage ist super, das personal sehr nett und hilfsbereit, die guten bewertungen verstehe ich trotzdem nicht.
es ist ein sehr sehr einfaches hotel, ohne den geringsten komfort. es war sehr sauber.

Cons:

wir haben ein zimmer in den oberen stockwerken mit stadtblick reserviert und eines im untersten geschoss mit nur einem fenster zu einer feuermauer bekommen.
das frühstück ist seeeehr einfach… unser bad war auch eher 2 sterne standard. keinesfalls ist es ein 4 sterne hotel.

The staff are very friendly, the decor of the hotel. We only stayed 2 nights tho as travelling short period of time. So can't really expand on much. I would recommend the hotel

Beautiful place
Pros:

Absolutely loved this place. Great reception staff who speak English. They go out of their way to help you. Good breakfast, nice restaurant meals, and they even do your washing for free. Room was lovely. Nicely decorated courtyard and in a nice traditional street in a good location. I thought it was great value for money and would definitely recommend this place

Great, Hotel, food and staff
Pros:

Staff were so friendly and accommodating, the room was very clean and spacious. The location and building were very pretty with a tradition feel. The food was excellent!! Wish we were staying longer than 1 night

The hotel and our room have so much character. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Free laundry service was great as well. The room came with free champagne but we don’t drink so they offered us mango juice instead which was the best. We only stayed for one night but they gave us 2 panda plushies as sourvenirs. I can’t praise the hotel enough and will definitely come back next time we’re in Chengdu :)

Loved this place
Pros:

Lovely place, very quaint and I loved the restaurant/ courtyard area. Reception staff were great and a bonus that they speak English. We got an upgrade and loved our room. In a nice very Chinese looking street which made it feel authentic. Close to People’s Park.

Cons:

Breakfast could have more fruit and didn’t have soy milk
