Comfortable hotel in an amazing location

Beautiful classic hotel in fantastic location.
Pros:

Excellent location adjacent to Place de Comedie in wonderful pedestrianised Montpellier. Could walk everywhere and air is so clean it’s a pleasure walking-plus lots of trees, flowers and fountains. Recommend the Tue market at Les Arceaux.
Tram close by (line 1 handy for leaving by TGV from Gare du Sud France to Paris).
Walking distance from Gare St Roch from Nimes.
Friendly staff upgraded our room to a superior (30m2) which was very spacious and comfortable with large recently renovated bathroom. Heated towel rail. Elevator.
Good value thanks to upgrade.
Love the staircase and original tiles at reception.
Bar adjacent to reception but there are hundreds of cafes and restaurants close by. Had a nice meal at Le Cafe 1893.
No traffic so really quiet!

Cons:

Decor good (curtains, wallpaper etc) but could update carpet to lighten it up. Some lighting over coffee area in room would be great. A grab rail in shower over bath would be good too.

Très bien, mais peut être amélioré sur petit déjeuner.
Pros:

Le lit +++, le personnel, le confort de la pièce. La clim. L'isolation des fenêtres. La salle de bains est confortable aussi. L'armoire. La télé.

Cons:

La prise pour USB à côté du lit qui ne marche pas. Un peu déçue du petit déjeuner avec des produits pas très qualitifs. La moquette dans la chambre, pas hygiénique. VMC ou ventilation un peu bruyante quand d'autres se douchent.

Lo único el Lobby deben de mejorarlo cuando entras la 1ra impresión no es ña mejor, pero una vez entras a resto del hotel todo es muy lindo y limpio

Die Lage ist perfekt. Das Parkhaus sehr Nahe gelegen und hat grosse Parkfelder. Alles war sehr sauber, gute Betten und nettes Personal. Das Hotel ist sehr zu empfehlen wenn man die Altstadt erkunden möchte

I would stay here again if back in Montpelier!
Pros:

This hotel was in a perfect location for our one night in Montpelier - right in the center of things so we didn't have to travel far to see what we wanted to see. The hotel staff was very welcoming and accommodating and gave us a fantastic restaurant recommendation for lunch when we arrived. The room furnishings might have seemed a little worn, but nothing that I was really bothered by. The room was large, as was the bathroom.
