Great quiet villa close to beach with pool and hot tub! Removed from a lot of the touristy stuff.
Pros:

Upon arrival you were greeted with the nicest woman and a complimentary glass of wine. I was so aware of how kind she was and attentive! She made sure you had everything you needed. She made sure to help get you set up with the luggage and the room. The room was HUGE and nice amenities. Hot tub on the deck which was a nice added bonus. I didn't get into to the pool but it's walking distance to the beacH. The breakfast was incredible spread of assorted fruits, pastries, cheeses, olives, juices, coffee, yogurt and much more! I highly recommend this place!

Cons:

The closest beach is walking distance but mainly quite full of lounge chairs/restaurants. There are a bunch of markets close by so it's convenient for that. The pool is a little underwhelming but nnie to have the option.

Pros:

We absolutely loved our stay at Avaton Suites and Villas. The villas and the outlook were just gorgeous, but what truly made our stay unforgettable was Eleni, the hotel manager. I was travelling with my 89‑year‑old mum, and Eleni went above and beyond to make sure she was comfortable and had everything she needed. She was genuinely fabulous.
Don’t be put off by comments about the steep hill — there’s always a car available to pick you up or drop you off if you’re not feeling up to the short walk. The location is perfect too, within walking distance of both the old town and the beach. A wonderful place to base yourself on this beautiful island.

Gutes Preis- Leistungsverhältnis
Pros:

Super netter Empfang von Frau Eleni die sehr freundlich alles erklärt und überall behilflich ist. Man merkt bei ihr, dass sie ihren Job liebt. Wir waren nur für 1 Nacht dort in einer Suite mit Whirlpool auf dem Balkon, den wir aber nicht genutzt haben. Zimmer sehr groß und das Schlafzimmer war über eine Wendeltreppe oberhalb in einem Extraraum zu erreichen. Wunderbar ruhig in der Nacht. Leise Klimaanlage oben und unten. Nette Poolbar am kleinen aber feinem Pool. Günstiger hausinterner Bring- Abholdienst (zB wurden wir für nur 15 EUR zum Flughafen gebracht). Frühstück war jetzt nicht überdrüber aber ausreichend und für jenen denke ich ist etwas dabei (für griechische Verhältnisse war es aber absolut ok).

Cons:

Bad ist etwas klein und es gibt wenig Ablagemöglichkeit und es ist leider auch schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen und gehört erneuert. Auch der Außenbereich um den Whirlpool herum war nicht sehr einladend da teilweise die Umrandungen gebrochen waren. Keine Sitzpölster für die Sessel auf der Terrasse. Sehr steile Auffahrt von der Hauptstraße weg aber dafür bekommt man einen wunderbaren Blick Richtung Meer (wenn jemand schlecht zu Fuß ist besser rauffahren lassen). Sehr schmutzige Fenster, dass sollte nicht sein. Alles in Allem ist aber das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis gesamt sehr in Ordnung und die netten Mitarbeiter heben das ganze auch nochmals nach oben.

Best place to stay in Skiathos!
Pros:

From the moment we arrived Eleni made us all feel so special. She was extremely kind and was very attentive to any of our needs. The hotel was absolutely beautiful and the breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Eleni even ordered us a car anytime we left the resort. She made the experience very relaxing for our entire group. This was the best place we stayed in the entire two weeks we traveled around Greece!

Pros:

Eleni our host was wonderful. She was welcoming and helped us with transfers, local knowledge.and genuinely concerned that we had a wonderful stay. Joanna the poolside bartender and Eleni's assistant was wonderful. The team made our stay comfortable and relaxing.

Cons:

The hot tub at our room could have been a bit warmer, however at the end of a long day a soak in the tub was a welcome moment to relax before bed.
