My boyfriend and I were on our anniversary weekend and were looking for a luxurious getaway.
Pros:

The property was beautiful, felt luxurious, clean and cared for.

Cons:

The reason for our poor rating and what took away from our experience and possibly our chances of coming back, is that the overall experience did not match the vibe of the hotel.

The staff, although nice, appeared to not know or enforce the rules of the hotel. There was supposed to be no smoking allowed, yet we had people smoking beside us in the pool and they were even handed ashtrays enabling their behavior.

We also saw people bringing in outside food and beverages and enjoying them freely by the pool, in foam containers — no luxury there.

No individual speakers were allowed by the pool and also we had people playing their own music loudly.

In general, this lack of enforcement took away from our experience and we fear as time passes, people will only feel more free to do as they wish even if it bothers other guests. Which is why we wouldn’t feel confident with our choice in the future when we don’t know what to expect.

Très bel hôtel
Personnel très agréable et sympathique juste parfois un peu long pour servir à la piscine
Les chambres sont modernes et agréables
Le restaurant est très bon

Cons:

Pour aller à la plage il y a une petite route à traverser, du coup presque personne n’y va et surtout elle est pas vivante car pas de serveurs qui y viennent …
Il manque une douche ainsi que des toilettes près de la plage il faut remonter jusqu’à la piscine
Est-ce parce que nous étions pas en pleine saison mais le petit déjeuner était au menu et seulement 4 choix dont 1 seul sucré sinon les 3 autres c’était avec des oeufs et du coup c’est un peu long malgré qu’il y avait pas beaucoup de monde
Pareil un petit étendoir sur les terrasses et balcons serait bien utile

Exceptionnelle !
Pros:

L’emplacement (proximité avec la plage, le centre de Las Terrenas, bars et restaurants).
Le personnel est très accueillant et attentif.
Le petit déjeuner est varié. La salle de sport est bien équipé avec des machines de qualité.

Ruined vacation and personal safety concerns from male manager
Pros:

Everything was good we had behavior issues with general manager

Cons:

Behavior of general manager was aggressive, on simple complain , more like miscommunication- he overreacted , we were afraid of our safety and dignity as 3 males were laughing on us- solo mother and daughter, making comments in Spanish - misogynistic? Sexists? Who knows

El hotel es hermoso.. todo impecable , las instalaciones de primera ,el personal muy atento y amable ,el área de la piscina con vistas a la playa espectacular .
