Excellent location- not far from major historic sites and very quite (rare options for Beijing)

This is a fantastic hotel. We could not have been happier with our choice. The staff are AMAZING, particularly Julie. They were all so helpful and friendly, nothing was too much for them. It is probably the best hotel experience we have ever had, in terms of value for money, the facilities and the comfort. The wonderful staff are young and this gives the hotel a youthful and optimistic vibe. The location feels local, as if we were really living in Beijing. It felt safe and we were happy to walk through the hutong at night.

We recommend the Great Wall trip booked through the hotel. We thought it was excellent value. The tour was well-led, and the lunch was really tasty.

Stay here - you’ll be glad you did!

Friendly staff

I loved the location in an old Hutong but tastefully rennovated. The rooms were very comfortable with great outdoor space. The best part was the warm and helpful staff. Felix helped us check in and was very helpful attending to all our needs. Ruyi and other staff even helped us organise an extra bag for our luggage. Dillon in the Bar kept us hydrated on Beers and drinks. I can't recall all the names of the staff but all of them were super nice.

This is a really amazing find. The hotel is secretly tucked away but very close to all attractions. On arrival we were greeted by Julie. She is wonderful and very helpful. It’s been a fabulous visit here; and I fully recommend this hotel to others.

It is a very nice hotel in the middle of hutong area - the hotel is very new with everything you may need for your stay. The rooms are very clean and spacious, staff are friendly and helpful - they provide laundry service for free - you can also store your luggage before and after your stay. Breakfasts are delicious - generally we recommend this hotel to everybody!

Location was great from our point of view - it is however in a hutong and not all taxi/uber drivers are pleased about this but staff were able to assist very well. Staff were very helpful in general. Setting and pond was very nice. Family room was nice and spacious.

great hotel, we stayed there for 4 days and enjoyed everything very much. The staff is always ready to help with any questions: from calling a taxi to recommendations of the nearest shops/restaurants. Special thanks to Julia, who was always ready to help, explain and show everything.

Sfeer binnenplaats, comfortabele kamers met gadgets, fijne douches en heel vriendelijk, behulpzaam en Engels-sprekend personeel (laatste is zeker niet standaard in meeste hotels in China).
Julie ging “above and beyond” en heeft ons uren geholpen om een verloren telefoon terug te krijgen; zij was echt fantastisch…overigens zonder de anderen tekort te doen: al het personeel was uitmuntend.
Ook Dylan (café) stond altijd klaar met water of gewoon voor een praatje en hij heeft tot 6.00 ‘s ochtends het café opengehouden zodat wij de WK finale konden kijken.

It was perfectly maintained and the rooms the ideal size. Everything had been thought of and carefully considered. Even had a free laundry service.
