Big room sizes (we booked a family room and a kingsize room), lovely decor. Fantastic bar, restaurant and beer garden - with beautiful views, lots of seating available on a hot day in August.
No air con (heatwave weather) - a fan was available in each room though.
Breakfast not great, best think was view from terrace.
Not much car room
Breakfast not well cooked hard bacon
Great location, lovely room. Food in the restaurant was great quality.
Not enough places to put your things in the bathroom, no where to put bottles in the shower only on the floor
Plenty of parking. Seaview room had a very pleasant balcony for an early morning coffee - with views of the Menai Bridge. Tea and coffee facilities in the room were good and promptly replenished. Location is great for exploring the rest of the island.
Booking.com was advertising this hotel as air-conditioned. This was a major factor in our booking given we are in the middle of a heat wave. There was no air-con.
Continental breakfast was a bit basic but croissants were good. It is an extremely popular place for friday and saturday evenings and sunday lunch - plan accordingly!
Staff very attentive especially Tracey she was very helpful
Maybe somesort of handle in showerroom 6
Lovely hotel, food and friendly staff
No lift, my partner has some difficulty walking. Bed not that great as I have back issues
We stayed in a family room. It was a lovely size with plenty of space to accommodate us all. The view was lovely and the room was clean and very welcoming. The bed was super comfortable. The facilities were lovely and clean. There is a good size car park. The hotel staff were all very friendly and welcoming and they helped us to book a taxi to the wedding venue (the reason we were visiting) We had breakfast in the morning. I had smoked salmon and scrambled eggs and my son and partner enjoyed a full English breakfast. You could help yourself to cold items such as cereal, yoghurts and pastries and there was also juice available. The view from the breakfast room was lovely.
This is not about what we didn't like but more about providing feedback. The bathroom has limited storage such as shelves to place washbags/toothbrushes and also limited space to hang towels. For a room this big I would have expected a little more 'storage'.
Decor and friendly staff
Attention needed to minor details eg black mould around shower odd mark on walls
Heel mooi ingericht, comfortabel, lekker eten.
Het continentaal ontbijt was heel beperkt, maar dit werd financieel gecompenseerd.
The location of the hotel is good. The car park is free to guests and we found no problem finding a space. I had booked a "king" room which I expected to be a little larger but apparently meant simply that the bed was a king size bed in a small room.
The TV wasn't a "smart" TV so no way of logging into Prime/Netflix etc.
This was room 17 and the bathroom was tiny and cramped, with a basin totally inadequate for normal use and certainly not commensurate with a "king" room.
The cooked breakfast was fine but the continental offering was very poor and not really as advertised - very limited selection of cereals (though of course lots of coco pops and special K) and no real fruit offering, just a couple of whole oranges and a stale apple (the kitchen couldn't even find me a banana when I asked),
