Peu cher et bien placé.
Pros:

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. Le personnel est vraiment sympathique et accueillant. L’établissement propose également la location de scooters à un tarif intéressant, ce qui est très pratique.

Le logement est bien situé : il est tout à fait possible de visiter la ville à pied si l’on n’a pas envie de louer un scooter, car les principaux sites et restaurants restent accessibles en marchant un peu.

Nous avons aussi apprécié les petites attentions, comme l’eau gratuite à disposition ainsi que le thé et le café. La terrasse privative est un vrai plus pour profiter de l’extérieur sans quitter le logement.

Cons:

Quelques points peuvent toutefois être améliorés. Le ménage pourrait être un peu plus approfondi, même si la chambre était globalement propre. Elle est également assez sombre, ce qui est un peu dommage.

Enfin, il faut savoir qu’il y a des coupures d’électricité de 5 h à 12 h. La climatisation s’arrête donc pendant cette période. En revanche, grâce aux panneaux solaires et aux batteries, l’établissement continue à fournir de l’électricité pour le reste des équipements, ce qui limite les désagréments.

Pros:

We had such a positive stay at Ziah’s! The people who run it are genuinely lovely and went out of their way to be helpful. They washed and dried our clothes so quickly, and when I ran out of conditioner, she even gave me her own — such a kind gesture. The location is brilliant, and they really went the extra mile with the setup. Thanks to their solar panels, even during Port Barton’s daily power cut (12am–12pm), we still had lights, WiFi, and a working socket. They also provided fans, so it never felt too uncomfortable without AC. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Bons souvenirs des lieux!
Pros:

La gentillesse des patrons.

Cons:

Pas possible de déjeuner sur place. Acces tres sombre la nuit pour rentrer du centre ville. Pas mal de bruit jusque tard le soir alors qu’on se trouve éloigné du centre!

Nice and clean. The hosts were exceptionally nice to us, taking care of our needs at all times. Value for money is really good as well.

Pros:

Very friendly and helpful owners. Simple accommodation but very very clean. Comfy beds, good aircon and wifi, lots of room to put your things in the room. Quiet. Free coffee and drinking water. Spacious bathroom with hot or cold shower. Felt safe and secure.

Pros:

This guest house has a very local feel, tucked away down a small lane where you really feel part of the neighbourhood rather than in a tourist area. The manager is a genuinely kind and welcoming person, which we appreciated.

However, there were several comfort issues during our stay. The air conditioning was an older style unit and too noisy to use while sleeping. The mattress was uncomfortable, and the shower room was quite small, with hot water that was inconsistent. The WiFi connection was also poor.

Stop over haven
Pros:

Loved the location since it was close to our fave restaurant -- FatCat and the room in general was clean and lovely. They also had a hot shower which was a plus since we weren't able to have a hot shower for a while.

Cons:

Nothing about the place, just the short road going there was a bit bumpy (we had a scooter).
