Elegant, very comfortable Suite, good breakfast.
Internet connection by hotels’s wifi is Very poor, almost unusable. Staff did not want to give me any of Accor benefits even if I am Gold member. Hotel is far from the area with Drum Tower and Bell Tower.

Мы жили в 3ем в 2ух комнатном номере. Однако 3 суток из 4 нам приносили всего на двоих - воду, полотенца и тд. Просьба быть внимательнее.
The “single bed” in the family suites is just a hard, wooden additional bed added to the room. Maybe would be okay for a child but very uncomfortable and definitely not suitable for an adult

The location is very nice. In the center of Xi'an with easy access to the wall gates, the bell tower and a lot of tasty restaurants.
The lack of service and a list of bad experiences. 1. Arrived in my room to a clogged toilet from a previous guest, having to wait 1.30 for service after multiple calls. 2. Had a bathroom that was flooded everytime I toke a shower and the damage was visible everywhere on the walls with mold in the grime. 3. A nail sticking out of the floor between the bathroom and room that penetrated my foot which started bleeding heavily. 4. Being locked out of my toom twice in a 3 night stay (just at once both cards didn't work). And after all this, I ended up complaining and the staff repsonse was the following: Sorry please come back to us and we will make your next stay better, nothing further.
The spa is also well bellow par, smells and is rated by the government as a dirty establishment 😔.

This hotel has a lot of potential, but it still has room for improvement. The staff are fantastic—exceptionally kind, helpful, and always willing to assist—and they speak excellent English. The breakfast is very good, although allergen information is not provided, which is something I would expect from a hotel in the Accor chain.
The area is very quiet, located on the outskirts of the city, yet the city center can still be reached comfortably on foot. The nearest metro station is only about a 5-minute walk away, making it easy to reach the trains stations. It is also in a very convenient location for booking a DiDi ride to visit the Terracotta Army.
One thing to note is that the hotel can be a bit difficult to find using navigation apps, as directions are not always clear. It is worth contacting the hotel in advance and asking for detailed instructions on how to reach the property.
Our room was very spacious, but unfortunately, that is where the positives end.
The room is quite dated, and the ceilings are low—not only in the room itself but throughout the entire guest-room wing. This is a shame because the lobby is spacious, bright, and gives a much better first impression.
Overall, I expected much more from a Sofitel. The room felt somewhat claustrophobic, dark, and not particularly comfortable. That said, it was clean, and the bathroom was large, bright, and well maintained.

Были в начале мая. Персонал великолепен! Каждый из них - ресепшн, портье, bellboy, уборка номера, лаундж, на завтраке! Добротный завтрак, хороший выбор. Номер был с доступом в лаундж, это был очень правильный выбор с моей стороны. Качество еды отличное, заменил нам ужин, также пиво неограниченно, девушки самые лучшие работали, им отдельная благодарность. Отель находится в самом центре, тихом и спокойном месте. Номер прекрасный, с двумя санузлами.
Я понимаю некоторых постояльцев с отзывом, что отель немного старого образца. Но я ставлю 10, т.к. персонал сделал так, что уровень сервиса перекрывает это с лихвой. Спасибо команде отеля за прекрасное начало нашего путешествия по Китаю!

From the moment we arrived the staff were exceptional and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfasts and the service there was first class. We booked transport beforehand to collect us from the airport and they also took us back afterwards in a luxury Mercedes. This was very cheap too and the staff were extremely friendly. We were only a short walk from the town centre and again the area was very calm and safe. The hotel is only a short walk from the local Metro station which is sited just round the corner. Staff were very friendly and helped us locating it. Local Eateries were but a short walk away and again the area was very safe and you could walk the streets without any worries.
There was nothing not to like. Everyone was very friendly, they spoke good English, which was exceedingly helpful, and we booked a trip from there to see the Terracotta Warriors and were collected at the front door and returned later.
The hotel is well located. The breakfast is very good! Our reservation did not include breakfast, but we ended up having it there - paying separately and worth it. The concierge was very helpful with tips and calling a cab service. The gym is small but ok.
The room was not well cleaned, specifically the bathroom.
