Small but good hotel nicely located on Funcal heights. But a bit expensive
Pros:

- Hotel is small and nicely located on the heights of Funchal providing a nice view to the port
- Breakfast is good and provided food is fine though not extravagant
- Staff is friendly
- Parking is just opposite the small and steep road. Parking limited to available places
- Terrace provides a nice view on the city

Cons:

I wouldn't consider the Quinta Mirabela as a 5* venue but rather a good 4*
- Reception desk often closed
- Room too small for this hotel category
- Prices are a bit high

Short stay outside Funchal
Pros:

Nice boutique hotel, comfortable bed

Cons:

Remote from restaurants, cafes . On a very steep slope , so not easy to walk anywhere.
Room key refused to work every time we tried to use it, necessitated several visits to reception when we wanted to get into the room.

Pros:

Das Hotel liegt in einer schönen Lage oberhalb von Funchal, mit dem Mietwagen sehr gut zu erreichen und verfügt über genügend Parkplätze. unser Zimmer war sehr schön, sauber, und das Frühstücksbuffet prima.

Cons:

Der Kaffee war nicht so gut, und das vegetarische Angebot auf der Karte im Restaurant sehr mager obwohl bei den Fleisch und Fischgerichten sehr viel Gemüsebeilagen aufgelistet waren, war es nicht möglich, Gemüse zu bestellen. Ich musste mit Nudeln und Sahnesosse vorlieb nehmen, während mein Partner zu seinem Gericht leckeres Gemüse bekam. Das hat mich doch recht enttäuscht

L'emplacement idéal, calme, discrétion, petit déjeuner au TOP. Une superbe vue sur Funchal et la descente des luges devant l'hôtel, trop sympa !
La literie impeccable, grand lit et chambre spacieuse.
Nous avons mangé un soir au restaurant de l'hôtel, bon et copieux.
Une adresse à conseiller !

Cons:

Peut être une fermeture trop tôt du SPA !
19H00 celà fait un peu tôt après de belle journée de randonnée. Mais c'est un détail.

Beautiful little hotel close to Monte Palace
Pros:

Located on the way to Monte Palace, this hotel has artsy boutique vibe.
We enjoyed our dinner at the restaurant and overnight stay!

Bel établissement sur les hauteurs,le personnel est très agréable.
Un service de navette est disponible pour rejoindre Funchal

Cons:

Les repas du soir n’étaient pas du tout réguliers en terme de qualité. Nous avons certains soirs très bien mangé , d autres quasi tout renvoyé… quelle déception pour nous qui avions pris la demi-pension.
Les chambres mériteraient un bon rafraîchissement pour avoir le niveau 5 étoiles.

Vue superbe sur Funchal, 2 terrasses, piscine et transats, belle décoration de l'hôtel, navette pour le centre-ville, parking gratuit. Petit déjeuner agréable. Diner à la carte excellent.
Un différend concernant le rapport qualité/prix d'un diner "festif" décevant a été résolu par le manager en direct.

Cons:

Le renouvellement du kit d'accueil (eau, thé, café..) aurait été bienvenu au cours des 6 nuits

-O hotel não é um hotel de 5 estrelas
- Pelo preço deveria ser muito melhor
- Fizemos um pedido com seis meses de antecedência para ter uma cama de casal e mesmo assim deram nos uma cama de solteiro
- para compensar ofereceram nos um jantar no restaurante do hotel que foi medíocre, com sopa de peixe da costa feito de salmão, trio de porco completamente mal feito
- não existe esmero pedido de um hotel de 5 estrelas, por exemplo no pequeno almoço quando uma das mesas terminavam, não voltavam a colocar a mesa
- o pequeno almoço era até às 10h e as 9:30 já existia falta de comida
- nunca estava ninguém na receção
- instalações de spa e piscina super antiquadas

Reservei este hotel porque tinha um objetivo muito especial: fazer o meu pedido de casamento. A vista sobre a baía foi inicialmente o principal fator na minha decisão, mas aquilo que verdadeiramente tornou esta experiência inesquecível foi a equipa do hotel.

Gostaria de destacar especialmente a Rubina e a Sara, que trocaram inúmeros emails comigo ao longo das semanas anteriores e fizeram tudo o que estava ao seu alcance para garantir que a minha visão para este momento fosse concretizada na perfeição. Demonstraram uma disponibilidade, atenção ao detalhe e flexibilidade absolutamente extraordinárias.

Apesar de a nossa estadia ter sido bastante curta, fizeram-nos sentir genuinamente acompanhados e apoiados em cada etapa. Conseguiram transformar um momento que poderia facilmente ter sido stressante num momento tranquilo, precisamente pela confiança e segurança que me transmitiram.

Não tenho palavras suficientes para agradecer toda a ajuda prestada. Sempre que conto aos meus familiares e amigos a história do pedido de casamento, incluo inevitavelmente a forma como fui apoiado pela equipa do hotel. A qualidade do serviço foi tão marcante quanto o próprio local.

Obrigado por terem contribuído para uma das memórias mais importantes da nossa vida.

Pros:

Hotel jest bardzo ładnie położony. Ma darmowy parkering. Ładny basen. Obsługa miła. Fajnie że hotel ma siłownię, saunę i jacuzzi.

Cons:

Uważam że jak na 5 gwiazdkowy hotel to wybór na śniadaniach był mały. Myślę że to hotel 4 gwiazdkowy.
