- Great location in a secluded area of the lake, with its own private jungle (including a ~2k trail), swimming pool and private access to the (swimmable) lake, available kayaks, and private pier.
- Rooms are ample, comfortable, clean and well equipped (including daily refill of 2lt drinking water).
- Being in the middle of the jungle, the place is beautiful, peaceful and mostly quiet (it can become noisier y many people are staying at the hotel during the day). There is wildlife (we heard and saw resident howling monkeys, a small fox, iguanas, and many small lizards, birds, etc.
- While the hotel has road access, the easier and most convenient way to get there is by boat (10-15min ride to Flores island or Flores city pier (where a taxi can be arranged). The concierge at the hotel will help with any tours booking and transportation arrangements. There is a fixed boat schedule (for free) 5x/day to and from Flores island, and special boat transportation can be arranged for a fee.
- Very nice breakfast menu (a la carte).
- While there is a restaurant, the lunch and dinner menu is limited, closes at 8.30pm, and it is somewhat overpriced. I suggest bringing snacks and drinks (room has a mini fridge) so you can have flexibility and enjoy drinks on your private balcony!.

Hotel is located in a beautiful spot, surrounded by nature. Staff was always ready to help, with a big smile. They assisted in organizing a tour to Tikal, which was excellent. Special mentions to Daniela, Wesley and Yaneli.

Topligging van dit mooie hotel, aan de rustige kant van het meer waar het water helemaal proper is, zonder geluidshinder van omliggende hotels. Er was wellness (extra te betalen) maar in basis was er al een leuk en net zwembad, kajaks en een pedalo. Ook veel leuke hangmatten rondom in verschillende hoekjes. Er rijden golfkarretjes rond dus als je niet wil/kan wandelen, kan je je gratis op het domein laten rondvoeren. Personeel heel vriendelijk en professioneel, snelle reactie als er iets werd gevraagd of besteld. Aankomst kan met je eigen wagen, maar makkelijker nog is laten weten wanneer je aankomt, je parkeren in Flores en met het gratis privébootje van Bolontiku naar het hotel varen, magische ervaring.
Misschien dat het brengen van besteld eten in het restaurant wat lang duurde, zeker gezien het geen hoogseizoen was. Maar als je in verlof bent is een beetje langer wachten op zich geen probleem, dus dat is zeker geen breekpunt. Absolute aanrader!

Great place to stay out of town! Rooms are nice and the secluded location is relaxing. Nice access to the lake for swimming and a great pool.

El inconveniente que tuvimos la primera noche por encontrar nuestra habitación sin aire acondicionado y el baño con fuerte olor a alcantarilla. Gracias a dios todo se solucionó cuando nos cambiaron de habitación y nos compensaron por el tema.

Beautiful, unique rooms and quiet location.
Very difficult to access the hotel and to move around the property with very steep and long climbs between rooms and main facilities.
The personnel and the amenities. The attention to detail and how proactive the personnel can be, makes your stay a comfortable as it can be. A great place for a romantic getaway.
The lack of options for dinner, the Hotel it’s located a 50 mins car ride or 20 min boat ride from Flores and all the restaurants. At night boat trips can be turbulent, meaning go to dinner at the island isn’t a comfortable experience.
The place is wonderful, quiet and perfect for relaxing.
The breakfast is very good.
Both the pool and the lake are lovely for swimming.
The boat transport to and from the town of Flores is excellent, with eight free trips available in each direction every day, making it very convenient.
