Spacious room, good location to the sea front l, good value for money, shower was lovely
Room 1 had a really funny smell. I noticed aswell that the tiles in bathroom had water under them, which could have been the cause of the smell.

The tvwas also hanging away from the wall x
The bed was comfy but the pillows where as flat as anything
Also I think a matt should be provided for the bathroom due to floor being very slippery when wet, I know there are signs but still thats not gunna stop you slipping.

Sadly the room was rather stuffy. We could not work the heat control for radiators. It was hot weather, but to have had the towel rail heated would be nice. I meant to report that the sink plug needed a washer.
It was a cheap room but evidently having now stayed there I understand why it was so cheap.
Firstly the decor - holes and damage to the walls. Urgently needs repairs and a re-paint. Toilet seat was broken. The fixed shower head was clearly fitted with short people in mind. At 6ft 8 ins tall I had to stoop and duck to have a shower. The room had one window with a blind that overlooked some kind of lower floor access. The blind didnt cover the window fully and there was an external light in the courtyard that was left on all night which meant there was light coming in around the side of the blind. As someone who likes a dark room to sleep in this was particularly irritating. Then there was the noise from adjacent rooms of people talking, using the bathroom etc. late at night (after 23.30 and early at 06.00)

The heat !! On the coldest night in months it was unbearable , only had a broken fan with no guard to cool the room , which it didn’t
Location was very close to the main seafront and attractions. Bathroom was modern and clean. Good supply of tea and coffee. Free Wi-Fi was very fast and reliable.
No car parking directly at the hotel - however was a car park 2 minutes walk away (£15 for overnight - 24 hours). On arrival no receptionist to check in or ask questions, was given a code for door entry and also for the key safe next to the room door. View from the room was onto a back street. Room temperature was uncomfortable (no A/C) and the small portable fan was very noisy so couldn't leave on overnight. Only 2 small packets of shower gel.
Was very nice & clean & the shower was lovely & spacious.
The tv . Couldn't get any normal tv . The bedside light didn't work. Also heating came on during the night.
