Enjoyed our stay in Meekatharra and the Royal.
Pros:

Very basic rooms, had what we needed for 1 night stay. TV AC good water pressure and comfy bed.
The bonus was great overseas staff and a GREAT steak and cheap pints with the meal.
As with other places in the outback price in comparison to the quality of lodgings is high.

No cold water in taps, shower leaked all night,No heating, no blankets, towels would be rejected if donated to Good Sammy's ... mattress was so hard I could not sleep, run by backpackers... filthy... do not stay here.. sleep in your car!
