Dated, & food very poor.
52 steps to our tiny bedroom from Reception.
Friday night live music was tolerable as finished promptly at 22.30. However, a Rave venue immediately opposite with huge bass speakers & flashing lights continued, unrelenting until 04.00
Just give Boston a miss as it has nothing to commend it.
The overall presentation of the hotel. Willingness of staff to assist you as a visitor to the area. Room was clean and comfortable.
Free wifi in contrast to other budget hotels that only provide half hour.
There was a noticeable droning vibration/noise from unidentified plant or equipment somewhere in the building that did affect falling to sleep .in our room (108)

We sat down at a table with a bottle of wine and menu to order dinner and were told 4 of the main menu items weren’t available, from an already short menu. No veggie option, no pies etc…. I thought this was dreadful and have never known it in a restaurant before. We were told the hotel had had a busy weekend and were short staffed. Not my business I’m afraid. We had to leave the wine and walk out to find somewhere to eat…. Which we definitely did not want to have to do. Disappointed

The food is exceptional, staff are brilliant.
It is tired and needs a deep clean in some areas.
Ein sehr schönes altes Haus mit sehr viel Charme. Eine super Lage, direkt am Fluss gelegen und mitten im Zentrum.
Unser Zimmer war super, die Betten sehr bequem, das Bad mit Wanne auch super.
Parkplatz am Hotel inklusive.
Das Personal war auch sehr freundlich.
Wir würden immer wiederkommen.

Stairs
Location, bedroom and food were great
Small details. Hallways were "grubby". The carpet I can excuse but not the paint work. Damp cloth required. At breakfast the cafetières looked like they needed a good soak and scrub.
Staff were excellent and worked very hard in exceptional hot weather. Room was too hot, fan didn't work, television had a mind of it's own. Food was very good in restaurant.
Room was a long way from reception and far too hot but it was the hottest day of the year.
The bed was very comfortable and the room was attractive and clean; and well proportioned.
The staff were extremely helpful & friendly.
Good food and service in the bar and restaurant too (but you should offer cheese on the menu, as well as desserts).
The hotel's location is excellent but I would have preferred a better view - my room overlooked a car park.
I think bottles of mineral water should be provided in bedrooms, as well as tea, coffee etc.
I also like a minbar in my room but that may be a bit much to ask for.
You should also supply a shoe horn - v important for male guests.
Lovely central hotel..lots of character..staff very friendly & welcoming! Room etc clean..lots of info too! Food was exceptional at the hotel! Lovely night sleep 😴
Electric fan was supplied but was full of dust..used the hairdryer to clean! 😁
Close to town centre and good Breakfast
The car park for the hotel is a nightmare to find, it even has a different postcode to the hotel, there should be more information and directions when booking.
It was a good regular town hotel and the food and staff were lovely
Nothing to dislike
Great location and very helpful staff. Only criticism is that we did not get any room service on Sunday Morning, which meant that we had to go down to reception to get coffee and milk (from the furthest room in the hotel). Had additional coffee and milk been left on the Friday, this would not have been a problem as we had no expectation of the towels being replaced or bed made.
Unfortunately, not much one could do about the Heat, but the Band was great.
The staff were fabulous, attentive and polite. Food in the restaurant was delicious and good prices. Great central Position.
Difficult to find the carpark. It has a different postcode to the hotel.
