Rutland/Lincolnshire classic car road trip!
Pros:

Good brekky, location etc

Cons:

Usual hotel gripe - the shower head needed the limescale removing from the nipples!
Staircase banister rails were overdue for paint refresh!

Pros:

Central location neater the church

Cons:

Live music outside so it was noisey. Our room was on the 2nd floor about as far away from the stairs as you could get. Corridors were narrow, the doors are fire doors and heavy to open. Getting luggage to the room was hard work!

Pros:

The room was nice, and the bed and pillows were comfy. Nice bathroom.

Cons:

We were on the back and there was a building site right next door, which we were not pre warned about. Obviously had the windows opened because of the heat, but very loud machinery woke us up at 7am. Diggers dropping the rubble into the lorry.

Unacceptable and out of order
Pros:

Great location and staff

Cons:

A wedding at the Empress. The room shook with music vibrations until midnight and it was impossible to get any rest at all, I am not a killjoy at all but should have been warned that there was a wedding on.
