Nice rooms in a busy touristy area. Needs some renovation, very dated. Ample parking close to the hotel. Couple of blocks from the lake. Enjoyed the roof top bar, waiter/bartender was great.
Very dated, needs a face lift for sure. Our bathroom was a disappointment, as small as a bathroom in an RV, very tight! Bar lounge was OK, food average. We wanted a balcony room so we could see the lake, haha, the smallest balcony ever, barely room for two small chairs and table. Trees in the way of our view and surprised it was a couple of blocks from the lake because the pictures looked like we were right on it.
Friendly staff. Great location.
Location was good
Bedding was old as was the general condition of the room and common areas. Elevator didn’t work.
Location
Worn down to the point of gross
A Traverse City landmark, the location is perfect.
The place is a wreck: dirty, damaged, broken.
Good location
It was disgusting. When housekeeping changed our sheets they left somebody else’s rolled up underwear on our floor by the bed.
Location, shower pressure, bars
Everything broke down (pool, elevator). Carpet coming up in hallway. Small rooms, pillows terrible
It’s location. The ONLY other good thing about this dump was Aaron, the front desk mngr.
This hotel is old & musty. Stained carpeting, moldy & dingy. The elevators are so old I was afraid we’d get stuck & they’re tiny. To top it all off we paid $1500 for 3 nights in this creepy, moldy place!!! I wish we could get our money back 😤
I liked the location
My room carpet was stained and the desk chair was old and needs replacement.
Other than the location, the hotel needs updated for the price
Location, available parking, the underrated restaurant Minerva’s (so good!!!)
Could use some TLC - outside landscape (courtyard) and elevator upkeep.
Location
Old, tired and poor value for money
Excellent location for short walk to activities for Cherry Festival and downtown. Room was large and comfortable. Lighting was excellent. Beautiful grand piano in lobby and we were got to hear it played. So nice.
Pressure for shower was very poor and temperature of water was temperamental. New show head is probably needed.
Location
Only one elevator was working
Staff were fantastic, the pool(s) were great other than the splash feature in the kids pool not working.
Definitely an older hotel and not nice in all the right places, but a comfortable enough stay in a great location.
