The Beach Break Hotel El Cocal

Unfortunately I'm not sure where the super high rating came from for this property. This is the LOUDEST place I've ever stayed. If you want to sleep, well ever, this is not the place for you. Loud music until 2am with tons of bass that shakes the walls. Every night - not just weekends which would have been fine. The walls are paper thin and believe me you can't get away from it. The last night I was there (a Tuesday!) they had a legit DRUM LINE that played into the morning that sounded like the whole drum section of a marching band. Even with noise canceling ear buds I couldn't drown out the noise or sleep. I had a 5:30 wake up call to make my flight and ended up getting 3 hours of sleep because they finally stopped at 2am. Furthermore, each morning the staff would start doing things at 4:30am, yelling back and forth to each other, dumping glass bottles and making a huge racket. It's never fun as a solo female traveler to be jolted awake by a booming male voice right outside your door at 4:30am. Additionally, the lock on the door was extremely unsecured and loose and I didn't feel safe in my room at night. Solo female travelers beware.
For over $100/ night I would expect many things to be better, but I'd think hot water would be a bare minimum. Being in the ocean all day and coming back to a freezing shower just sucked. I have been many places without hot water but not for this price point. Also it's impossible to get your "included" breakfast. If you're someone who gets up a bit early to make the most of your days, you'll never get to eat. They refuse to make any food before 8am. I asked if there was anything they could do- even some fruit or a ham&cheese sandwich they made the night before so I had something, and they just said too bad. So, I got my "included" breakfast once in 4 days and had to purchase it every other day.

Parking was a little crazy but they made it work. So not bad.

Demasiado ruido en el hotel. Un poco desordenado el tema musical con los clientes y el hotel. Lastimoaamente no pudimos escuchar una sola vez el mar de tanta musica y personas que ponen su propio regeton combiando con la musica del hotel es to mutch, un poco desagradable!
Un poco de olor fetido en las habitaciones, problema de drenaje.

Leider hat es kein Warm/Kaltwasser. Etwas Gewöhnungsbedürftig. Man muss ein wenig warten bis ein wenig lauwarmes Wasser kommt.

Zu laute Musik in der gesamten Hotelanlage, am Wochenende auch ein Treffpunkt für junge Leute - entsprechend ist Lärm am Abend möglich.
Im Zimmer gibt es keinen Schrank um Kleidung abzulegen.
Strand besteht aus groben Steinen, man muss auf die Pools ausweichen.
