We had adjoining apartments overlooking the ocean and the views were absolutely stunning. The apartments were far nicer in reality than they looked in the photos, which was a very pleasant surprise. William was knowledgeable and helpful whenever we needed anything.
The area the hotel is in isn't as authentic as I would have hoped because it caters to tourists; this is more of a critique of the area than the hotel itself.
Great view from balcony. Lovely pool. Walkable to great public beach and local bars/ restaurants - but alongside steep main road. Very small local supermarket walkable. 15 minute walk espadilla sur beach with surfing, loungers, lifeguard, restaurants and lots of wildlife.
Clean but basic. Some traffic noise. Manuel antonio is stretched out so long way to centre of town or larger supermarkets. Walk to beach does not have pavement/ sidewalk alongside main road.
La ubicación es muy buena, a pocos minutos del Parque Nacional Manuel Antonio. Las vistas desde la zona de la piscina y desde algunas habitaciones son muy agradables y permiten disfrutar del entorno. También queremos destacar especialmente la amabilidad de William, que fue muy atento, cercano y siempre dispuesto a ayudarnos con cualquier duda o necesidad.
La habitación nos decepcionó bastante. Las fotografías de Booking generan unas expectativas muy superiores a la realidad. Encontramos unas instalaciones muy anticuadas y con poco mantenimiento: paredes con grietas y reparaciones visibles, mobiliario envejecido, televisor con cables y dispositivos colgando a la vista y un baño muy básico. En conjunto, el alojamiento transmite una sensación de dejadez y necesita una renovación importante. No esperábamos un hotel de lujo, pero sí un estado acorde con el precio y con la imagen que muestra en la plataforma. Después de alojarnos entendemos perfectamente las opiniones que comentan que las habitaciones están anticuadas y que las fotos no reflejan fielmente la realidad
The view from the hammock on the terrace was simply stunning. The room was big enough for several people and the kitchen had many appliances to chose from. The beach is within walking distance (somewhat steep going back but a reasonable price to pay for the view) and there are places around for breaffast, lunch and dinner.
If I was the manager, I would start thinking about some renovation because although the place is still up to date, in a few years in might look a bit outdated. Also, a monkey sneaked into the terrace and broke a wine glass, but this is probably not actually a negative and definitely not a fault of the accomodation.
We had the best view on our balcony of the ocean, cliffs over looking the ocean down about 7 blocks away from us!! Amazing views with hammocks on balcony. Monkeys visited us, we saw all sorts of birds even Mackaws flying by, amazing.
Turning on the water heater every time we arrived in the room, had to wait 15 minutes for hot water because they want you to turn off water heater when you leave room every time.

Viele Tiere, hat Spaß gemacht den Affen beim toben auf dem Gelände zuzusehen. Ein Faultier mit seinem Baby war auch auf dem Gelände. Der Pool war eine schöne Abkühlung, da die Strände nicht unbedingt Badestrände sind / eingeschränkt! Das Apartment war schlicht aber hat uns ausgereicht. Man kann zum Strand und Nationalpark laufen.
Leider hatten wir zwei Kakerlaken im Zimmer, das war nicht ganz so schön. Passiert leider in dieser Umgebung schonmal

Though the hotel is a bit far from the beach and the national park, the gorgeous balcony views more than make up for it. Regular visits from all sorts of wildlife make this spot even better. We could spot toucans, macaws, vultures, humming birds, pelicans, agutis, iguanas, monkeys, and even a couple of sloths! The receptionist was really helpful with whatever we needed, arranging taxis and tours, anything really. Highly recommend!

The View was absolutely stunning and we could walk to a great swimmable beach. The location near the park was amazing, and the pool lovely as well. I would recommend to anyone!
You should know it is a serious walk to the beach on the side of the road, but they have buses going by if you do not have a car.

La habitación tiene todo lo necesario para relajarse, cocinar de todo sin problemas (cocina MUY completa). Parking para estacionar. El personal es muy amable!
Es la segunda vez que me hospedo acá y volvería mil veces más.

The views were stunning: taking a nap watching the sunset over the ocean in a hammock is priceless. The staff were super kind and helpful, they showed us how to feed the monkeys with fruits, which was incredible, and they were always available and willing to help making our stay 10 out of 10. The balcony with the hammock, fan and table is perfect for breakfast or dinner with sunset over the ocean views
The room size. It's quite small and not well equipped if you are looking for more independent stay (cooking was a challenge cause the kitchen is tiny and all the equipment is packed, if would have been much easier if there was a shelf in order to leave the mini kitchen available for cooking).

For seeing wildlife up close and getting to feed the monkeys - it’s unreal. I saw more wildlife in this hotel and the surrounding area than i did my entire holiday

Amazing location if you want to spot the wildlife. We saw so much! Monkeys, sloths, lizards and birds. The balcony is great for a sunset watch. Close to some lovely restaurants. Close to national park and beach.
Little things like salt and pepper would be very handy! The nearest shop is quite a climb up the hill, obviously not at fault of the property but just a warning to anyone if you struggle with steep hills.
