A great place to stay to explore this area for the first time.

A nice stay in a comfortable modern room.
Pros:

Overall a good room, clean and modern with a comfortable bed and seats.
Good sized bathroom with a great shower.
No air con, but there was a fan.
10% discount in the Vault Restaurant, where the food and breakfast were excellent. The evening meal portions were huge!
Check in (and out) is self service, but this worked well.

Cons:

There are internal louvered shutters instead of curtains, but had to move furniture to open them to get to the windows to let in some air. It was then very noisy outside late at night and early morning.
The extractor fan in the bathroom was ineffective, so it stayed very hot.

We had a very pleasant stay and everything was to our liking.
Pros:

Very convenient location. Very helpful staff. A nice room and shower room. Comfortable bed. Good breakfast in the Pub downstairs which is attached to the rooms though a separate business. They offer a discount if you are staying in the rooms. We have stayed at Rooms at the Vault before and had no hesitation in booking again.

Cons:

Not much to dislike. The rooms are above a pub which is a late night venue at the weekend. They supply earplugs and I was able to sleep so I’d stay there again.

Clean, comfortable room with en-suite bathroom in middle of Buxton
Pros:

It was perfectly located for my needs, in the centre of Buxton. It was spotlessly clean, well furnished, with good supply of hot water, good wi-fi and tv, comfortable bed, effective window shutters. Check-in instructions comprehensive and easy. Good value breakfast available at Vault pub downstairs. During a midweek stay, I experienced no noise issues from the pub or from other guests.

Cons:

Sensitive fire alarm means you have to shower with bathroom door shut which can make it a little claustrophobic. Otherwise nothing.

The room was superbly decorated to a very high standard. Comfortable bed, excellent shower, tea, coffee. Great mirror for drying hair. Excellent security.

Cons:

I like the window open and unfortunately the noise from heavy speeding lorries kept on waking me up.

Pros:

Very well refurbished rooms over modern bar in central location. Very comfortable bed, new, modern furnishings. Very modern bathroom/shower with good water pressure and temperature. Overall very successful overnight stay.

Relaxing, convenient, enjoyable. Would recommend.
Pros:

We were able to park close to The Vault, also very easy to walk to the Buxton Opera House where we were seeing The Mikado.

Cons:

Had a problem finding the entrance to the accommodation as the door was pushed back, and we didn't see the entrance.. Found it eventually.
