Location to die for overlooking the valley. Food and drinks excellent, staff really friendly
The only issue we had was the temperature of the room due to the heatwave. We would have liked to have had a fan in the room and, rather that the window and curtains being open when we arrived, perhaps it would have been wise to have both closed during the day?
Excellent, our 5th or 6th visit

Charming bougee gastropub & accommodation in a gorgeous rural setting
Amazing location and superb views. Very friendly staff. Great breakfast and we had a lovely evening meal too. Hope to return to spend a little longer in the area.
Wasn't able to stay long enough.
Beautiful setting lovely stay
Nice old fashioned inn with lovely staff and excellent food
Friday night the bar was busy and very noisy
The staff went out of their way to be helpful. The location was very pretty and had a beautiful view. The historic pub is characterful. The breakfast was excellent.
My room was delightful in character but quite small. Ok for one person, but when my husband and dog joined me we were a little tight for space.
It’s in a beautiful setting looking over a valley. It’s a charming property - plenty of stone and traditional wood furniture. Really charming.

Fabulous, friendly staff who couldn’t do enough for the customers and were very friendly.
Perhaps to provide more than 2 pillows for a double room.
The beer garden views
The Harp In is a beautiful traditional Inn with stunning views from the bedroom and the beer garden.
The welcome from all the staff, a great dinner menu (which didnt disappount with the food we ordered) and great ales made this a cosy bolt hole over a few days walking the local hills.
We opted for the room with a seperate bathroom in favour of having a tub rather than a shower, which was a lovely long bath with views of the garden. Dressing gowns were provided for our modesty when going from our bedroom.
A really relaxing stay and we hope to be back, would certanly recommend.
Not alot, we had great weather and got to enjoy the beer garden and beautiful views before dinner after a days walking !
