Definitely recommend the hotel
Pros:

Hotel Location was good right on the road...lots of shops and restaurants nearby..good place to stay before ella..All staff were really helpful and courteous... breakfast was good.Rooms were clean and spacious...enough parking space.

Cons:

There was no lift in the hotel so for old people it can be difficult..

My recent stay at the Heritage Grand Badulla was an absolutely wonderful and deeply comfortable experience. From the moment I arrived after a tiring journey, I was warmly greeted with a refreshing welcome drink and a delicious slice of cake, which instantly revived my energy and made me feel genuinely valued as a guest.

The staff members were incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive, ensuring every detail of my stay was looked after. One of the highlights was the dining experience; the food was truly delicious and conveniently served right to my room. This allowed me to enjoy my meals in complete privacy and comfort, dining entirely at my own pace without feeling rushed. Additionally, having access to secure parking facilities gave me total peace of mind throughout my visit. I am incredibly happy with my experience and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Badulla.

Pros:

I had a wonderful stay and thought the hotel offered excellent value for money. The food at the restaurant was very generous and very reasonably priced. Breakfast was great too with good choices of an american or sri lankan breakfast..

What really made my stay, though, was the staff. They were consistently courteous, friendly and incredibly helpful, always going out of their way to make sure I was comfortable and well looked after.

Overall, a lovely stay and somewhere I would happily recommend.

Cons:

The only minor niggles were that there's no shower curtain or screen, so the bathroom floor gets quite wet when showering. Although it dries fairly quickly, if you need to use the bathroom again afterwards, you’re effectively walking across a wet floor.
Also, although I found the bed comfortable, there appeared to be just a sheet directly over the mattress, and I would have expected a mattress protector beneath it. It felt a little less hygienic.

Good Place to stay when passing through. Need Improvement in the shower. Tall people might find it.

No estuvo mal, pero tampoco enamora
Pros:

Sólo íbamos a pasar una noche para tomar el tren desde Badulla, así que con algo así nos bastaba. Un hotel sin ningún encanto especial, pero correcto. Viendo las fotos seguramente esperarás algo más de lo que te vas a encontrar. Desayuno bueno. Parking incluido.

Cons:

Nada en particular, ni especialmente negativo ni positivo.

Price is not high but not worth even for that price.
Pros:

Staff is good; location is convenient.

Cons:

The rooms are very small and have virtually no view of the outside. There is a very small window covered by a thick curtain, and even with the curtain removed, the only thing visible is an air-conditioning unit directly outside the window.

Fortunately, we stayed only for one night, with a late check-in and early morning check-out, as we were attending an event the following day. Otherwise, the room would have seriously affected the overall experience of a holiday. It felt more like a small prison cell than a comfortable hotel room.

The floor is carpeted but was not properly cleaned. Our feet became dusty when walking around the room, so wearing slippers was essential.

There is also no elevator, so we had to carry our luggage up the stairs ourselves. We checked in late at night, and there was nobody available except the security guard, who simply showed us the direction to our room. However, the staff were helpful with our luggage when we checked out in the morning.

Overall, this place may be acceptable for a very short overnight stay, particularly if you only need a place to sleep, but I would not recommend it for a holiday or a longer stay.

Een nacht, uitstekend geslapen, comfortabel. Restaurant met uitstekende (!) koffie

Vriendelijk en behulpzame staff

Cons:

Locatie is beetje druk. Wij hadden kamer aan dr straatkant, daar hebben ze schermen die het terras afschermen.. dat maakt het terras bloedheet en de badkamerluchten blijven daar hangen. Als de balkondeur dicht houdt (beter met airco) heb je daar echter geen last van
