I’m well satisfied. Thank you.!!
I appreciated it being in close vicinity to Jamaica station.
I was a first-time visitor to NYC and chose to stay closer to JFK to make travelling with luggage easier.
Not knowing the neighbourhood beforehand I’d have to say that the surrounding area is a little rough, though the hotel was clean and comfortable.
The room was clean and comfortable and I slept well.
False advertising. The listing states that luggage storage is available, but declines to mention that there’s a $20 cost for this, which I think is a blatant cash grab. My luggage was stored in a huge room adjacent to the reception area, so I don’t see the reason behind the charge.
The room was well appointed, but not very soundproof; outside noise and noisy neighbours were an issue, but thankfully that died down late at night.
Location
Room wasn’t cleaned, condom wrappers on the floor, used condoms under the bed, smelled like pee, very over priced.
Proximity to the air train to JFK.
Bed was comfortable.
Breakfast takeaway bag was nice.
Room was a bit dated and could have been cleaner
no hay parqueadero,,tuve un tiket por estacionsmiento
It was reasonably close to airport and substation. Road noise was insignificant.
The bedding and towels were stained. Found a couple of new cockroaches one on bed sheet, the other on the wall. The shower curtain allowed for water to splash through onto the cistern and vanity.
The reception were good to deal with.
it was close to the Air Train in Jamaica
carpet smelled bad. a neighbor played loud music until 11:30. At 3 AM there was a loud argument between a man and woman that kept me up
Clean and location.!!
this time, they didn’t move on time to satisfy your needs, it take days to get it done
Ok for a Cheap hotel “really a motel super8 Infact” it was very easy to get too and book the area is Jamaica queens day time it’s fine night time I highly suggest you be witty about it im a New Yorker was born here so I’m familiar with the nuances but don’t recommend out of state or country people walk around at night but for a 1-2 night stay even so I’d say look elsewhere but if you are in a bind like I was this place is cheap enough but for an extra $30 you can 100% find another hotel that would be 10 times better
Now the hotel like most 1-3 stars hotels state no smoking “complete BS” I walked into the room it smelled like weed I know it’s legal now in NYC but come on not everyone partakes nor do I want to sleep in a room that reeks of weed again I slept here because my Airbnb had an issue so 1 night here was not bad but an extended stay I highly suggest JUST DONT 1 maybe 3 nights if you are brave and strong willed by all means stay here but if you are looking for comfort silence and privacy look elsewhere on top of smelling like weed the other rooms on the floor I was on let’s just say seemed like they would have guests or friends “wink wink” stay for an hour or less also this hotel was super 8 or they bought phones from them but bathroom tub had black mold the bed headboard where lights would be taken out burn marks everywhere you can see it’s an old hotel for the drug dealers and or hookers/escorts “yes one approached me while in the hallway lol
On a good note the bedsheets were atleast clean it did not smell like old moldy linens bed was comfy pillows like most hotels can be better did I sleep well yes I left the tv on to drown out the noise soundproofing was bad windows to wall
Aside for VERY FEW good Things only the bed and the price would I stay here again if I had ZERO CHOICE and only for a night Yes do I want to stay here again HELL NO
Front desk guy also high as a kite when I checked in but that don’t matter to me as long as you do your job 17 min standing in the lobby waiting for him to look for my reservation another 5 to give me the key
Close to transit and airport
Clean
