A charming farm in the heart of a vineyard. Stunning views, a delicious breakfast with a view, and the lovely host Sandra who took care of everything. This was an amazing vacation there

Um espaço realmente muito acolhedor, muito limpo e com tudo o que é necessário para uns dias de descanso .
A Sandra que é a proprietária nunca deixou que faltasse nada,sempre muito atenciosa com tudo.

We stayed in the two bedroom house which had everything we needed - good kitchen, comfortable beds, modern bathroom and air conditioning. Outside the house the view of the property and the vineyards was amazing as was the pool and bbq facilities available. Our children who were young teens enjoyed interacting with the dogs and animals on the property. There were also some lovely fellow guests at the time of our stay. A big thank-you to the owners and their sons who made our stay a memorable holiday.

Great place for a getaway! We liked pretty much everything - the room, the swimming pool, and the surrounding area. Definitely a great place to stay.

Our family spent 5 days as guests in the two bedroom house. If you are looking for a peaceful spot with nice views in the Duoro Valley, go visit Sandra and Nuno. You are staying right between Porto and epicenter of the Port wine region,
so whether you choose a day a the pool or you are going on day trips, you're good to go. Sandra prepares the best homemade breakfast, so in any case your day will start of great.

Da simpatia da família que gere o alojamento e ambiente familiar que se vive na quinta. Adoramos os animais da quinta e o Henrique foi muito disponível a apresenta-los ao nosso filho. O pequeno almoço é delicioso, preparado no dia com carinho pela Sandra. O espaço é muito sossegado, a área da piscina muito agradável e bem cuidada. Gostamos muito e o nosso pequeno ainda não parou de pedir para voltar.

La hospitalidad ,los desayunos espectaculares ,se adaptó a nuestros horarios para traer ese pedazo de desayunos todo artesanal ,un 10 en todo ,Sandra eres fantástica,volveremos sin dudarlo.

Escolhi este sítio por várias razões. Foi um presente de aniversário para alguém que é muito especial e importante para mim, mas acabou por ser um presente para mim também. Queria um sítio tranquilo para fugir do barulho dos dias corridos, queria um sítio de paz, silêncio e tranquilidade. Este sítio é um sonho. A propriedade é linda, cuidada, silenciosa. O quarto limpo de forma exímia, decorado de forma simples (também ele sem grande ruído), uma casa de banho incrível (sim, tem a pressão perfeita de água no chuveiro enorme) e os produtos para utilizar cheiram maravilhosamente bem. Nenhum local é perfeito por si só, pois as pessoas que estão no Canhoto Douro só fazem deste sítio mais especial. Fomos bem recebidos desde o primeiro momento com um vinho que repeti 3x (não estive 48h neste alojamento). Tão bem recebidos que no único dia completo não quisemos sair daqui e provámos praticamente todo o menu disponível e toda a gente nos serviu de forma simpática, educada e de uma gentileza impossível de colocar em palavras. A Sandra e a sua família estão de parabéns por todo o ambiente que criaram neste local do qual não queria vir embora. Vou levar este sítio no coração e já quero criar uma tradição de voltar todos os anos. Muito grata por ter estado aqui.

We had the most amazing stay at Canhoto Douro with the most expectional hosts of Sandra, Nuno and their sons! It is set in a vineyard with clean, spacious rooms with air con and a great waterfall shower and an infinity pool outside your bedroom door. Breakfast was 10 out of 10 with a eggs from the chicken on the farm. We also did a wine and port tasting with Sandra which we throughly enjoyed with her expertise. A wonderful place to relax.

Everything about the property was wonderful. The pool and views were great to wake up to, the owners were so so nice and kind to our two little boys, and the two-bedroom house was perfect for our family of four for a long weekend. Breakfast was delicious every day, and we were given really great local restaurant recommendations. I highly recommend a stay here if you’re looking to be in the Duoro Valley!
