Not Good at all
Pros:

It was clean , enough parking space and the staff were friendly

Cons:

1. Shower n toilet were very awkward felt like a rented mobile toilet
2. TV has no DSTV , tv signal was bad felt like I’m watching tv in the 90s, in this era of 4K and HD quality that was horrible , please do something

3. Terribly slow WIFI I mean internet speed of less than 1mbps in 2026 ???

Affordable accommodation in the heart of Cape Town.
Pros:

Having stayed at a Sun1 when it was still the Formula 1 back in the day, it hasn't changed much. Needing something close to the V&A Waterfront that was affordable, this was perfect. It offered safe parking which was great. It hasn't changed at all if I must be honest but I found it perfectly acceptable and I would stay there again.

Cons:

It still felt like it did back in the 90s. The TV service was basic which is fine I guess as you don't go there to watch TV. Maybe a slight update may be good but I understand its appeal so nothing was bad.

I wasn't expecting much but it was a disappointing experience for the price I paid.
Pros:

I didn't have breakfast. the location was ok but the are a lot of people moving around and Sun1 gate takes time to open, which can make it unsafe when you're being chased or in a tight situation.

Cons:

The main gate takes long to open after you press the button. The room is very small for it's price and there is not enough furniture. The bathroom was disappointing. It felt like I was in an RV.

Pros:

The location was perfect for the event I attended i could walk to transport from the hotel and back

Cons:

What the patrons were banging the doors early morning and the noises coming from the rooms that had families in, showing a little respect towards other patrons would be appreciated
