Pros:

The complimentary drinks in the fridge were a nice touch. Ease of checki/out was also good. The bed was so comfortable this time. The last time we stayed, the bed was too soft.

Cons:

There is no parking available. When you drive to the city from a rural area that is really important. We found a carpark a few blocks away, but it cost almost as much as the room.

Enjoyed our stay, bed was super comfy, no noise from outside, very quiet
Pros:

Very clean, easily accessible, comfortable bed and great location for husbands hospital stay, will be back if we need to visit again

Cons:

Maybe a little table to sit at, then we probably would’ve ordered a meal from pub, but wasn’t a big deal breaker

Comfortable stay at a good price point in a fantastic location.
Pros:

Comfortable and great place to stay with nice service

Cons:

Only down side was that door lock had not been set up by housekeeping. Issue was fixed quickly when I raised it.

Great location, super helpful staff and let me check in early and check out late. Bed was amazingly comfortable and the view was great! Complimentary drinks and coffee were also a win.

Pros:

The location was fantastic. I found the room nice for one person. The shower was great, as well as the fridge, jug, two free cans of beer and two water bottles complementary. The bed was comfortable. It was good value for money. Good information about how to get into the room (once I figured out how to get into the building).

Cons:

I think for two people it might have been a bit crammed with the bed against the window at the far wall. I would have liked it if the room had been serviced perhaps once to take towels away and restock the tea. The coffee machine didn't work very well. I was a little bit confused when I first arrived as the entrance door did not have Central Club Hotel written on the door. So I went into the bar, and the bar person was very helpful.

Location was fantastic. So was the room. Beautifully furnished, clean, practical furniture allowed for multifunctionality. Quiet due to double glazing. Only letdown: very soft foam mattress

Pros:

Wonderful accommodation right across from the market. Stylish, clean and very comfortable room. Easy access to all parts of the city. Great value too. Would definitely stay here again the next time I'm in Melbourne!

Disappointed
Pros:

Decor was nice.

Cons:

Room smelt of mould and windows don’t open, no staff around to talk to about it.
The main reason I book hotels instead of Airbnb is to have my bags kept day of departure at reception, there was no reception and the pub attached barely open at times so we couldn’t ask anyone.

Lovely staff, lovely comfortable room, excellent bar/restaurant downstairs. Shame initial access is difficult.
Pros:

The room was spacious and comfortable with a splendid city view.

Cons:

Couldn’t access the property until staff turned up for the lunch shift. Therefore could not drop off my luggage and had to leave it at a nearby coffee shop.
