Pros:

The location is absolutely excellent – everything is nearby, with a wine shop around one corner and a great local pub around the other. All the main sights in the Moda district are very close, and the ferry to the European side is just a short walk away, which made getting around very convenient. The pool and sunbathing area are great, and the view of the Bosphorus is simply stunning – absolutely superb. Despite a few minor issues, the hotel is perfectly comfortable for a pleasant stay, and overall I was happy with my choice.

Cons:

There was some confusion with my Booking.com reservation – I was sure breakfast was included in the room price, but it turned out it wasn't, and at 2,000 lira per person it felt quite expensive, so we ended up having breakfast elsewhere in the city (which, to be fair, turned out to be a nice experience). The hotel itself could definitely use some renovation, as you can tell the rooms are a bit worn and show their age. The prices also felt a little high for the room condition, though I suppose that's probably normal given the prime location.

Der Pool und die Bar auf der 12 Etage war sehr gut, die Anbindung ist auch von Vorteil.
Direkter Anschluss mit der Metro zum Flughafen.

Enttäuschender Service beim Check-in & Sauberkeitsmängel

​Wir waren um 08:00 Uhr vor Ort. Statt uns das bereits freie Zimmer zu geben, wollte man uns ein Upgrade für 70 € extra pro Tag verkaufen – bei einem Zimmerpreis von 180 €/Nacht eine Frechheit.

​Beim regulären Check-in um 14:00 Uhr bekamen wir dann ein Zimmer mit Blick auf eine Baustelle statt auf die Stadt. Nach unserer Beschwerde erhielten wir plötzlich doch das Upgrade-Zimmer vom Morgen – diesmal kostenlos. Warum nicht gleich so? Kulanz sieht anders aus.

​Leider war dieses Zimmer dann nicht einmal richtig sauber. Wir sind nicht pingelig, aber das war absolut nicht sauber und für ein Hilton-Hotel schlichtweg inakzeptabel.

Keine Weiterempfehlung.

Schöner Aufenthalt mit toller Lage, aber einigen kleinen Verbesserungsmöglichkeiten.
Pros:

Die Lage des Hotels ist hervorragend und ideal für Erkundungen der Umgebung. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns das Eckzimmer mit seiner wunderschönen Aussicht einfach perfekt. Auch der Pool auf dem Dach war ein echtes Highlight und bot eine tolle Atmosphäre zum Entspannen. Das Bett war sehr gemütlich und sorgte für einen erholsamen Schlaf. Insgesamt ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt.

Cons:

Die Klimaanlage funktionierte zwar gut, ließ sich jedoch nicht individuell regulieren, wodurch es nachts teilweise zu kalt wurde. Die Preise im Hotel sind insgesamt recht hoch beispielsweise kostet eine 0,75-Liter-Flasche Wasser 290 TL/ca. 6-7€ Auch der Valet-Service ist mit 750 TL/ca. 14-15€ teuer, zumal die Fahrzeuge auf öffentlichen Parkplätzen abgestellt werden und man dort auch kostenlos selbst parken kann. Zudem wäre eine zusätzliche Dusche im Badezimmer wünschenswert, da diese gefehlt hat.

Aufgrund des nicht dem Niveau eines 5 Sterne Hotels entsprechenden Abendessens enttäuschend.

Einige Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Cons:

Wir hatten 8 Tage Aufenthalt mit Abendessen gebucht. Beim Einchecken wurden wir informiert, dass es für den gesamten Aufenthalt nur 3 Menüs zum Abendessen als Auswahl gibt und wir jeden Tag aus den selben 3 Menüs wählen müssen und die Uhrzeit angeben müssen. Das bedeutete, dass wir den gesamten Aufenthalt nahezu jeden Tag dasselbe essen hätten müssen (wenn einem bestimmte Speisen nicht schmecken). So etwas habe ich noch nie erlebt und entspricht das nicht dem erwartbaren Niveau eines 5-Sterne Hotels, noch dazu unter der Marke Hilton. Obwohl es diverse problemlose Möglichkeiten gegeben hätte dieses Thema zu lösen, z.B. wie von mir vorgeschlagen Umbuchung auf nur Frühstück oder Anrechnung eines Betrages für a la carte Essen, gab es seitens des Direktors kein Entgegenkommen. Dieser verwies darauf, dass dies nur booking.com lösen könne. Als ich mich daraufhin an booking.com wendete war auch das Verhalten von booking,com enttäuschend, da sie mein E-Mail nur an das Hotel weiterleiteten, worauf ich die bisherige negative Antwort neuerlich erhielt. dadurch wurde unser Aufenthalt deutlich teurer und der Gesamteindruck stark getrübt.
